You should just do Wild Wild Whiskers. Penitent's Rope is a near 100% drop. =P
 
Treasures is the worst BC to waste seals on ever. Theres so many easier ones that you can definately win, at least more than one out of 3 times, and guarantee yourself some money. 250 seals is alot of seals to just piss away, find a new BCNM o.O

(P.S. I went 0/2 on this in my No0borz days, cuz i thought it would make me "Omg rich")

I went "1/6", considering it that only because one of the runs yielded a Gold Ingot I believe. Back then I thought the run was totally worth it just for that :roll:

Hehe I was going to post exactly what you just said like an hour ago, but I didn't want to be the asshole. hehehe.

Seriously, just do BC40 under observation. It's EASY to get two others to help you with that. The PCC is pretty much a standard 8% drop or so. Some people go 0/20etc, but I have quite literally gone about 12/140 or so. God does not hate you if you do not get the drop. You just have to do it over and over and over and over and over again.

I feel like I'm pissing my seals away on that damn kraken club BC lol. 0/10 with my LS so far. I hear it's a 5% drop so I'm wondering if it's even worth it since every other drop is pretty much garbage on that fight. I wouldn't even be blowing seals on it if it wasn't a LS event.
 
Sorry to hear that. My cousin once walked in there before he quit the game and just picked one chest, and got the ring, no fight. Horseshoe up his ass indeed.
 
You could always, ya know, bring a party, each with their own orb, to do that BC50 and actually *kill* a mimic if you get one.

Sorcerer's Ring and Minstrel's Ring prices are nothing to sneeze at.

I have searched and searched and never heard of anybody actually winning that BC, but it'd be a fun gamble if youre a risk taker. Plus if you took 6 orbs, odds say you'd auto win twice...

Do the BCNM50 that drops the spiked finger gauntlets... easy money there, great drop rate, etc. Me and Tim got rich off that back in the day /reminisces.

To be honest from reading up about it, it doesn't sound like people have *tried* to actually kill the mimics very much. Lots of "omg I went solo and died" - well, duh. Treat it like any other mimic - hits hard (so blink tank it), draws in, and has a TP move which is hate reset + poison + stun (but no damage). Probably wouldn't be bad at all with dual NIN tanks (maybe solo NIN tank if it hits slowly enough) and people bringing Antidotes. If it's anything like the ones in Pso'Xja, evasion gear also works very nicely.

Final Bout is, in my opinion, the worst BCNM ever made. Unless there's a different BC50 that drops the gauntlets too, which I may be overlooking.

Well, back in the day when the gauntlets sold for 3-5 million, it was awesome. I've done it in the last 6 months and got gauntlets and still sold em for a million, but as of this moment its probably not worth it. ~500k for the gauntlets, and the other items are dropping rapidly too. I'd probably rather finish NIN to 40 and try for a PCC.

The fact that it requires everyone to 2 hour kinda sucks, but its a cake win with a decent drop rate. As for worst BCNM ever? Treasures is up there, but Charming Trio has to be my absolute least favorite ever.

My static has become quite profissiant(sp) at hostile herbivores and final bout is an LS favorite. wild wild wiskers gave me the gil i needed to buy my hauby. and i still havent gotten over how the catasrophic fall of Erase' price has killed the desire to do Worms Turn which was the first BCNM i perfected and did for money. i will not waist seals on under observation when there are other BCNM's that will easily get you gil with alot more ease.

it only sucks now because of mog lockers but that is actually my favorite bcnm because it always drops mann. hands

anyone know what of bcnms i can solo with my jobs besides shooting fish?
