Its a little amazing to me and im sure alot of other people, how Ilana,Courtney AND Livvy could be seen in a negative way. People I respected from day 1 of meeting them and still do. Didn't you personally like Ilana and Courtney till this happened? How can 1 silly thing totally change your view on a person like that so quick. I know you were on the E body list but is it really worth it when you said A++++ to the first thread and kept going on with it?

I do think its sucks that all 7 NB members got sucked into, could have been handled a little better by Kaizen leaders,but it was bound to happen. You guys joined kaizen together. I still think that was unfair in the first place but the leader who did that is part of the blame. Both kaizen and NB have been saying that you guys didn't fit in well while being in Kaizen, why didn't you guys leave/quit right away then? Why did you join a endgame shell in the first place? The excuse that they were just doing small events at the time is not real excuse... because that was not there choice thats because of the manpower.
Then when you guys left/was forced out for not wanting to where pearl it should have just ended/problems fixed there. I'm sure if NB members cared enough to stay they could have just sucked up the pearl policy and do some HNM. But then the flame was made out of Lyall own free will. I really still don't understand how anyone could expect no negative consequences out of that from limitless when its a branch shell and kaizen leaders are incharge. Sure friday run is a bit of an exception since its only Courtney from Kaizen that I know of. But now look what Rampage just said to Court now... Friday run will definatly not be normal now on the merge pearl if Courtney isnt there at all. And by normal I mean the same way its been going on, not that we can't run.

Again, both sides have a part of the blame to me. I did and do still respect both sides still after all this, but there is really no need to make this worst.

You're hitting on the right parts; LYALL made a flame of his own free will, and ILANA kicked people from a separate shell on account of it. Ilana's name never came up in the flame, Einherjar never came up in the flame, to an extent, Kaizen didn't come up in the flame. I made a flame regarding ONE person and it somehow spiraled into the entire linkshell and every shell they control, which never was the original intention.

Something else that needs to get mentioned, though; There ARE more than seven people in the Nightblades linkshell. Fulltiming any pearl requires those who weren't in Kaizen to basically be relegated to only talking via tell or message, and if you've ever tried to hold a conversation with four friends at the same time without a middle ground, it's not easy. There's no harm in not wearing a pearl during primetime so people can catch up with their friends on another shell, although it certainly looks like there is now.

It still comes down to the leaders of those shells being incapable of putting differences aside and working together for a common goal. It's not like anyone who got kicked last night protested; they all showed up to their part anyway only to find out that because a friend of theirs had some things to say about someone else they knew, they were getting kicked over it.

I'll say it again. Real mature, guys. Way to be adults about this, and work through the bullshit to get things done.

I'm a little confused. Kaizen/Limitless had rule inplace to specifically avoid this kind of drama. There are members of Limitless who are not part of Kaizen who are directly effected by this, which is why I would assume the rules about decisions made within Kaizen not effecting Limitless were made. What I don't understand is why people are backing Kaizen leadership if they went completely against the rules they put in place to avoid all this in the first place. Lyall can be a hot head. Most of us have read it, seen it, or been on the other end of it at some point. But to intentionally ruin a 'seperate' LS dynamis runs because of it seems like a dick move.

And I could have it all completely ass backward as well.

Think it was more along the lines you and rampagellama make a thread pointed at the leadership of Kaizen, but is broader in scope and really insults the shell in general and some members specifically. I think it is not very arguable concerning their decision to kick you and ramp from a shell where you openly insulted some of its member in a ragequit (Kaizen members that are also Limitlesss members).

Other NB members? Arguable, but nonetheless there was absolutely no discussion of removing anyone from other shells until you decided to rage on QCDN and leadership chose to do what they thought was best because at that point avoiding drama is pretty moot.

Speaking personally I find it hard to believe these people are so evil, I've been on runs with them enough to have a pretty fair idea what they are like despite myself not being a member of Kaizen.

I'm sure most people know I'm not the easiest person to get along with I'm prone to blowing up when I see stuff I dont like or understand happening, these people have all felt my rough edge at various times and to their credit they have been pleasant and understanding back to me in response.

You see this is the problem I have, I had no idea such problems were occuring in the background with all the various participants of this flame, I was happy just to be part of a sucessful dynamis group each and every week, yes occasionally problems arise within the shell but its always worked out eventually and I think thats a credit to the various leaders of each run TG on mondays. and everyone else that leads on fridays.

I don't dislike Lyall, I never had any arguments with NB, besides once with Rampage in Dynamis - I did plenty of things with them. Point is Lyall and Rampage could have left Kaizen because the shell decides to switch directions, not get all rage over it for hardly a great reason, not burned bridges with people in other shells at the same time, and generally not make a mountain out of a mole-hill. I think he and Ramp overreacted plain and simple and this has been the result.

Do you have the opinion that people associated with Lyall who had nothing to do with this flame being dealt with the way they were is ok? That's my main issue with the whole thing. I can see both sides, and as Lyall is a friend of mine it's difficult for me to be (let alone be seen as) impartial, but the treatment of the others, who I never met in my entire time on Quetz, seems childish and petty to me.
