Yes, that's the price on Raise III on another server. What the hell is going on with the economy?
 
Bleh, I don't know, but I want it to stop. At this rate I'll never be able to buy new equipment ><;
 
Even though this doesn't involve me, why has Raise III become so expensive all of a sudden? Can any mages give input to this ffxi vacationer?
 
you need to gain it through a BCNM battle with I think 30 kindred seals.. and it's not easy >< and people keep jacking the price bit by bit hoping for more money...
 
Everyone I know on other servers say we have the best server, that the problems we have are 3 to 4 times worse on there servers. I’m not sure about the last two servers that went online.

I've been reading on killingifrit that Remora is in horrendous condition, being that there are many people who rip others off or cheat in transactions. Many people who migrated to the new servers claimed that they wish they never migrated. That kinda says alot....

One of my friends from school who is on Fairy server says that the economy is being literally owned by gilsellers while Fairly people on killingifrit make snickering jokes to rename the server "Raise III" or "JP>NA."

The scary thing is that my first character was on Fairy.......
 
Man, and I thought our server was near the bottom of the food chain... sucks for others.
 
Raise 3 isn't because of gilsellers by anymeans, its the people who buy gil, and bid on raise 3, next person checking PH sees that so and so pays 50k more than previously. There in turn the price gets jacked again, and then its rinse/wash/repeat.
 
You guys all know Raise III drops from a couple BC battles that are insanely easy at level 75. One of the BCs that drops Raise 3 can even be duoed, I know because I have done it.

But that reason now one does these BCs anymore is because, the drop rate for raise 3 sucks and it is one of the few good items you can get from the BC. So instead of wasting their 30 KS on this BC, they use them on the new BC battles which make them more money.
 
my theory:

before- only ppl who need raise 3 were all JP or the few high level gaijins

now- only ppl who need R3 are the gaijins, price go upppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp
 
I think it's just because raise 3 BCNM's where done more, so despite the rare drop it some still flowed in. Now, like Dua said, less people are doing it making raise 3 a lot rarer.
 
I doubt it, maybe you are thinking of thunder 3 or reraise 3.
 
hmm... could have sworn it was Raise III... cuz we were hunting that one Gob NM in Onzozo for that earring... and I was with my friend Payge... and she was asking me about the gobs dropping it... cuz it was selling for like 100k at the time... so I sent some tells and Ima said he got his there or how he ahd bought it for 3k cuz it dropped there.

I asked a friend of mine last night... he did confirm that Raise III did in fact drop from these gobs last night in the Labyrinth of Onzozo a LONG LONG time ago. :(

Why the heck they moved it I don't know. Why I'd really like to know is why the hell these guys selling it for so much. Considering Raise III effects the players that are being raised and not the WHM themselves. And really the XP difference from being lost is what... 400xp??? Not sure how long this price would stick since not too many of my WHM friends are going to drop 1.6mil gil for that XP difference. And actually, I don't blame them.

Don't look now, but last raise 3 scroll I saw sold yesterday was for 3.5 mil.

Also, Kirin drops raise 3.

Anyway, the price for Raise III is just insane. I can't imagine being that level and having to drop over 3 million gil so that everyone else can benefit from it. S-E really needs to make another way to obtain this scroll soon before this damn thing costs more than freakin' peacock charms.

Every high level WHM with this spell is a gil buyer now? That makes sense. Thanks for clarifying.
