Well as I"m sure I've told a few of you this online, but this weekend was the Calgary Zombie walk. Pretty much a bunch of Calgarians dressed up like zombies and walked up and down a few main streets downtown, hopped on a train and rode our asses to Chinook mall (Calgary's biggest and swankiest mall) where we were supposed to eat a food court dinner consisting of lots of Fleshy Meats.

To my suprise, when we arrived in Olympic Park (the meeting area) there were quite a few more zombies than I expected. We're talking probably close to 300 formerly-alive people ready to prowl the streets in search of brains.
There was much groaning, banging, destroying, feasting, and terrorizing to be had on our 3 hour trek downtown. We arrived at the train station to take the tuuuurrrrrraaaaaaiiiiiiineee to Chinook Mall. It required about 3 trains to transport our undead mass as a whole to the mall, a group consisting of me and my friends were some of the first to arrive.
We entered the mall - much to the fright of all the Super trendy patrons inside and began to troll in search of the perfect brain. Someone must of notified the authorities as the rent-a-cops were on us like white on rice. They hearded us with their bikes and walkie-talkies to the far entrance of the mall and out. They even sent some of their minions along with us to make sure we didn't enter the sanctuary of flesh bags again.
As we approached our original point of entrance, the rest of our bretheren arrived - slowly trudging towards the gates. You could see the panic in the security guard's face as 200 more zombies approached his precious mall. Surely him and his 9 or so other friends could handle 30-40 zombies but a full gaggle of them? He raced towards the entrance and started screaming for all of the undead to leave the mall. He told us we had made some children cry...this didn't bother us at all, as crying is what children do.
The threat of arrest and a call to the real police who carry bullets capable of downing us with a single shot to the head dispersed the crowd of zombies quite quickly, and thus ended the walk of the dead.
There are only three zombies in the photos that you guys should recognize, and they are dipicted in the top photo....from left to right you have Sabia, Dirgesong and Carth.
