...in my sea com.

He popped in and examined me and killed the non smn tonberry. I thought he was being nice. I thought "Wow cool of this guy to do that for me". Then I found the SMN was missing.
I said in /say "(Tonberry) (Summoner) do not kill please". no answer. I thought he might be JP. I didn't know of a more clear way to ask so I repeated the line.

Nothing.

... no I claimed it before him, just game mechanics allows him to steal. Still as I write this it's on. It's still on and he is getting some claims because I'm writing fast. If I'm making typos now it's because I'm rushing this post. Trust me the Anester typos are straight translations from my log file.



wow this guy is an asshole. Yeah I'm over reacting but at the moment it really feels justified. I'll let you know how this turns out.

well he's doing tougher mobs since I'm hogging the lesser ones. He's trying to goad me up there but fuck it. Let him do the harder ones and work for whatever he's doing. I was just trying to xp.

Well me being a douche to counter his douch(iness) word? gave me the items for CIDs quest and the key for the map. So it's paid off. Drama still on but seems to be fading... I hope.
 
This reminds me of when I was harvesting. There was someone else harvesting too. He went to a harvesting point. I went to it too. And he was like "wtf, it was my harvesting point blabla". Man, if you don't like competition, do something else. Someone counter claims your pets ? Go do something else. If you think about it competition is a large part of the game (NM etc.).
 
I put up with that when mining Mt.Z. You just can't stop people mining the point you have found. I hope you aren't suggesting that I learn to live with him killing that one smn tonberry. Because there are many tonberries in here and I asked nice at first. He's upstairs now killing harder ones because of me.

Sorry that happened to you. I remember a group of people were picking off bombs I was soloing in Ifrit's Cauldron when I was lvling my SMN from the mid 50s. They needed bomb ash or something for Bomb Queen but the bombs I was killing didn't drop it (I don't believe) so they were counter claiming me for nothing. I remember one tried to MPK me but the bomb exploded before he got a chance and I was too far for it to hurt me.
 
Thanks. What puzzles me is he is after some sort of drop. I just don't know what. He can't be xp'ing, meriting, unlocking weapons... as these are too weak to a 75. Dunno.

He's still there and I've just stopped giving him a taste of his medicine. a Pso'xja key dropped so it's probably time for me to get my map. Also some /ex ore dropped. I looked it up and it's some quest. I figure what the hell, I'll do the quest too. At least there is some good coming out of this *fight*
 
Holy fucking hell... Sorry, I hate to be the only one talking for 2 pages but you have to see this part. I left to go to another tower to explore. I did a sea all Anester. He is no longer 75thf/nin but is now in Ru'lude Gardens as a 75BLM.


So he's a BLM? I'm an upstart 49 trying to hit 50 BLM and he doesn't know about search coms and all the hot BLM solo spots? When he checked me before this nonsense began he didn't see the com or my job and level? Wow, so conclusion is he just doesn't care and just plain continues to be a prick.


Wow. just wow. Yeah Pchan, it's an mmo but part of the down swing is you have to deal with people. Just as the upswing is you have to deal with people. Bad with the good. Ok Now I know more about this guy.
 
He's obviously one of those guys who doesn't give a fuck about other people's feelings - or perhaps this happened to HIM on BLM, and it's his way of "getting back". And don't expect sense from Pchan, I'm surprised the response wasn't something about Salvage anyway.

I've said it before, Pchan is not a people person, lol. That being said, this guy was just being an ass for the sake of being an ass. Competition had nothing to do with it. As for harvesting, I will generally not take a spot someone else is already at, unless we got there the same time. Maybe it's stupid, but it's easier for me to move onto the next spot (only time this is really bad is when mining), and clear that one out. Otherwise, you may get someone who will follow you to every spot, at which point, neither one of you will be making good use of your time.
 
Duffy. if it happen to being an ass to you stealing mob from you again, let me know in ingame, /tell me lol, i'll bring my rng and pull every mob he trying to claim.

Win. heh thanks. I felt kinda bad about it but vindicated none-the-less. He was putting on an aire of "I don't care, look at this guy who can't take all of the toneberries." I can tell it was getting to him though.

I was an ass to him in response but pulled back a bit and tried to work with him. If he just let me have that one little mob, he would've had a happier day.
