I wasn't sure where to put this, as it pertains a bit to gaming, but also to Real Life. I just saw this comic for the first time, and I am not sure how old it is, but I figured I would share it with you all if you haven't seen it. I believe it is a Korean comic that has been translated to English. It's really touching, and makes me think that systems like the Wii and DS that try to bring the family together to play a game are more important than we make them out to be. There are so many families out there with their dysfunctions and lack of unity, and I always wished it would be curable by a game of Mario Party or sitting down to play through a story of Zelda as a family. Maybe I am disillusioned by the fact that my family has been able to play games together as a way to keep the family together.

Anyways, here is the comic. http://animalcrossingtragedy.ytmnd.com/

I saw that on BG and got all teary. Then someone said that everyone gets letters from a Mom in-game and kind of ruined it. I've never really played Animal Crossing though, so I could be wrong on either account.

That was pretty good, but it needed a punchline at the end.

Yes, everyone gets letters and present from thier "mom" in that game.

Halifirien's AC town wasn't all that family friendly. Besides the foul-mouthed and sometimes pornographic letters, at some point he designed a swaztika pattern as a goof and made it available at the pattern shop. Next thing you knew kitties and bunnies were running around wearing blood banners with big smiles on their faces. It was amusing how such a cute little game could be corrupted in the wrong kind of hands.

Viva Pinata is way better than Animal Crossing could ever hope to be.

Sounds pretty much just like the town I used to have.

I hate to admit to playing animal crossing so publicly...but at least I un E rated it.

My friends 11 year old plays that game, but I gotta say the replay value of it could teach other developers a thing or two.

I played the hell out of Bloodrayne, a game whose main character is a big breasted vampire nazi killer. I enjoyed watching her prance around in lewd clothing, so I'd say I should be just as (if not more) embarrased than you Excalibur!

Seen the new Bloodrayne movie yet?

pfft, that's nothing to be embarrassed about. I personally love bouncy boobs, real or otherwise.
