Announcements

[CmdrFly]

Sculli,

Just curious - on the phpBB system we were able to make 'announcement' threads, which were placed above the stickies in a forum. Is that not available with vBulletin? I have one sticky thread I want at the top of the list in our private LS forum, so even if there's a ranking system for stickies that'd do.

Thanks mang.

I will have to check into that, it seems announcements are now for admins only. Will also look to see whether there is a way to order stickies.

If you click the Mod link at the lower right of any page, it will bring up a ModCP which may or may not allow you to post an announcement to the board you are modding.

Let me know whether that actually works.

No option for Announcements... here's my choices:

Delete thread
Undelete thread
Open thread
Close thread
Approve thread
Unapprove thread
Stick thread
Unstick thread
Move thread
Merge thread

Ahh ...., no soup for you then!
Will look into what can be done.
