Seriously, WTF, its the same excuse everytime a child is killed by an unfit parent: "He fell throught the cracks" or "We could have done something if this case had been followed through with". Pisses me off to no end being a parent myself. Makes me wonder just how many other children are being submitted to constant abuse by an unfit parent as we speak, that may end up as another statistic because he/she "fell throught the cracks" again.

Richard Anthony McTear Jr., 21, was arrested Tuesday, hours after a confrontation at his former girlfriend's apartment in which he snatched the infant, Emanuel Wesley Murray, the Hillsborough County sheriff's office said.

The child's body was found about 4 .am. Tuesday on the side of Interstate 275 in Tampa, Florida, by a local television photographer on his way to work. The photographer, WTVT's Jason Bird, said he stopped when he spotted something by the roadside.

Whenever I hear or read stories like these I always want to go kill the idiot 'grown up'. A child is a gift that should be treasured. As my Dad puts it, sometimes you want to enact retroactive abortion but then you realize your life would be empty, cheerless and lonely without your children.
