Another One Bites The Dust.

That's right guys. Taurothar is gone. It's been a long time coming, and I've finally just lost my love for this game. I've been playing the last few months purely for the time spent with the friends I've made in this game.

Everyone in I've known, from my first days in NuclearWastrels under Nyosan's leadership to the final hours in lolDynamis beating the Dynamis Lord again, has really touched me. I guess the best way to put it is a line from "Wicked" which goes; Who's to say if I've been changed for the better, but because I knew you, I have been changed for good. To everyone I've known in this game, you're what made the 3 years I've played absolutely amazing. :emote_grouphug:

I was left with the difficult decision of how to go about leaving. I did the usual, sold all my gear, gave some away, gave all my gil away. But how to make my goodbye memorable for everyone. How do I make myself stand apart from all these other poor schlubs who quit and come back months later with their tails between their legs. In my final 24 hours in game, I decided to delevel my PLD from 75 to 3. That's right 3. Everyone thought it was 4, but I have proven that it is indeed 3.

As for where I'm going, I'm going to be spending my spare time in Vanguard, Saga of Heroes. I have a few RL friends that got me into playing it, and I'm having a ton of fun. If you guys end up playing it, and wanna look me up there, my main char is Draugo on the server Woefeather.

I'm actually enjoying Vanguard a lot myself Besides the problems the game has of course >.> My char's Uhulann on Hillsbury server, Vulmane Dread Knight (rawr)

That lvl down thing made me laugh. Nice way to stay away from FFXI forever. If I ever decide to leave for good, I might give it a try

I'm wondering though, where did you go to dlvl as fast as possible?

He sat in Caedvia Mire and let Imps Jnun and Flies pwn him? It would be awesome if he went to all the old exp zones for deleveling.

Nah, it was faster to just set homepoint in cape terrigan, and let the gobs rape me. It was wonderful to have epic battles with mobs as a naked pld with no subjob, I even managed to get 5 to drop their bombs, surviving 2.

I was naked for one of two reasons: I deleveled and lost my gear, or I was just so hot from the site of you being ass up. I'll let you decide :wink:
