Every source is trying to tell it like it is. Uzor's link brings a side that seems (to me at least) more realistic. But in reality it all adds to the whole truth, which is BOTH ARE SICK AND HORNY.

Because the kid was 15 at the time and knew she was his mother, and went to find her, he should be just as responsible as she is. It's sick on both counts, mistakes were made horrible and astonishing as they may be. He wanted to screw her for whatever reason, and she let him for whatever reason. To me, this isn't a case of rape, it's two stupid people committing incest.

First of, I know what statutory rape is. I do however think its stupid. Maybe its because all countries in Sweden you're allowed to fuck from the age you're 15, whether or not the other person is 100 doesn't matter, you're still responsible for what you do. As such, if you rape someone, it is still rape and you're responsible for it. A 15 year old can be charged for murder, and you're not gonna complain if he is, no? Sure, its disgusting and often shunned if a 100 year old man has sex with a 15 year old, its still not a crime if its consentual.

And of course that page must be pro-incest pedophiles because they claim she didn't seek her 10 year old son out to rape him, right?

When I do watch or read news, I read it with criticism. I truly do feel sorry for you if you believe everything said on any news source is 100% factual.

You don't seem to think a story about a mother fucking her child is horrific and disgusting. Its not that bad apparently, its just that the evil Fox News had to "twist" the story to make it "a whole lot worse".

If your going to bash Fox News (and your entitled too) and this is the best example you could come up with of them taking a situtation and embelishing it, then that is just really, really pathetic.

I realize that Sweden in a little more liberal then America but you believing 15 years olds are mature enough to screw adults and that a story about a kid screwing his own mother would actually need Fox News to make it "seem worse" is just disturbing on too many levels.

Heh. I actually have to agree with Tomasello on this one. With all the horrific distortion and right-wing shilling Fox News has done over the years, this story doesn't really stand out all that much. To quote the late, great Douglas Adams, what's one droplet of misinformation in such a raging torrent?
 
I didn't know what to think of this. And yes perhaps it's the fact that the accused in this case is a woman, so I suppose as a woman, I find it hard to understand >.>;

Also, with the quote Trist provided outlining that no one has yet to admit to anything leads me to think there is still much confusion on both sides.

No matter the outcome, these folks need several sit downs with some highly trained professionals.

If this woman is guilty she should rot in jail. If found innocent and found victim of horrendous allegations only, well that child of hers belongs best in a boot camp!

If its true, then yes, it is horrendous and disgusting. However, you should always be critical when reading anything a newspaper say. They will try to make it sound as bad (or amazing) as possible in order to get more viewers or readers. As such, as we (usually) do not know the whole story and only the twisted one media portrays, I don't make an opinion based on that.

I spend my time memorizing more important things then twisted news stories. Why, if I'd have memorized all of them, I'd have memorized every news story for the past 22 years.

Personally I find it strange, as it is illegal to possess pictures of 15 year-olds, but its still fully legal to fuck them. But its still legal, and as such no crime has been committed.

And yes, I do find it disgusting that she had sex with her son, I simply don't like how they made him sound 10, stated she seeked her out, and that she raped him, when that is as far from the truth as you can possibly get.

Why? Because allegations like that can severely damage her life, and even if proven innocent, it is unlikely Fox News or other news stations will make as big a deal out of it as they have with this story, and it is highly unlikely they will apologize.

Personally, I think they should handle it like they do in Sweden if they want to report crimes in which no sentence has been passed, and that is to leave the accused's personal information and picture out of it.

Innocent until proven guilty is in accordance to the law it has nothing to do with public opinion... The larger question here is where the fuck is it actually legal to have sex with a 15 year old or have pictures of them.

But it SHOULD be in the media too. Otherwise people will still judge them, even if they're innocent.

That's why allowing sex from 15 but porn from 18 is stupid. If you're 25 and have a 15-year old girlfriend you're allowed to fuck her, but you're not allowed to have pictures of her. What's the point in that case? You'll see her naked either way. So why have the age limit at 15?

Again, I haven't once stated that sex didn't take place, nor have I said it wasn't consentual. What I've been saying is that its not nearly as bad as claimed in the article. For example, she didn't seek him out, he wasn't 10, and she didn't rape him. She was asked to come, he was 15, and she had consentual sex. The true version is obviously less dramatic.

Hell, we don't even know if the sex WAS consentual. For all we know she could lie about that. But that's her story, and its probably the one she will take with her to the grave, so for what's it worth, that's what it'll be for all intents and purposes.
