It'd be funny as hell if this program was really a key logger. It'd suck, but you'd have to laugh at the irony if it didn't happen to you.

Doubt it. It has a license agreement, so if it does turn out to be a keylogger, which I highly doubt it is, then the programmer could face some serious charges.

Anyways, this was tested when some guy intentionally installed a keylogger to test this program, and the keylogger couldn't get the data.

I know it's doubtful, I'm just saying that I'd laugh at the irony. Kinda like how people think Mcafee is a good anti-virus program when it's almost a virus in itself.

I know what you mean -_-

I'm glad I got Norton back. The day we got it back it picked up hundreds of viruses McAfee didn't.

AVG's the best free anti-virus(and one of the best anyways), but there's better programs if you're willing to pay for them.

I was thinking the same thing.

I'm not :). Norton is a pile of wank though. It was good at one time now it's so bloated and such a resource hog it's untrue.
That was kind of my point. It's very sad that the two biggest names in anti-virus software(Mcafee and Norton) both rate pretty low compared to almost every other AV program out there. For the best programs period, go NOD32, PC-cillin and Kardonsky; if you want something free just go get AVG.

Speaking of which where can I find AVG for free because I can only find the new non-free one.

lol i thot itd be pretty funny too hahah if it was actually a keylogger lol

hehe, cool. Thanks for showing us this. And ya, McAffee is so bad >.> slows the computer up the ass and doesn't protect well :| AVG is totally ftw.

I had never heard about how bad McAffee was before this so i went to their product page and looked at comments.

"I'm pretty sure i downloaded this product to get rid of viruses. After a week of using it i actually got more viruses than when i used a freeware program."

Owned.

I use Norton 360 atm (and rather unhappily). I had Norton System Works 2004 in the past, and I was completely satisfied with that. It protected my PC well, and didnt bog anything down as far as I could tell.

360 on the other hand makes me want to shoot myself sometimes... Especially with its dumbed down interface... Its odd because its supposed to be easy to control and change... I actually have more trouble changing settings and running scans with 360 than I did with system works.

Maybes its too simple...

I vote death penalty for hackers and virus makers! wee!! :P (totally wouldn't work, but ya...)
