What the difference (if any) between +1 and +1%?

I'm not sure at all, but maybe the +1, is an increase in your skill, Triple attack, like Elemental magic skill +15. (I know Triple attack is an JT, and not skill you can measure)

And the +1%, is the increase in chance of doing a triple attack in battle.

Or maybe as you write, no difference at all.

It depends on what your "Triple Attack" level is at.

For base level, say your Triple Attack = 100

1% = 1 and 1 = 1 They are the same.

Say your Triple Attack skill is 50.

1% = .5 and 1=1 Making the boots better

Say your Triple Attack Skill is 200

1%=2 and 1=1 Making the Dagger better.

However, you can't really measure the skill. Past that I have no idea.

Everything i have heard was pretty much that +# is better then +%.

Yep. +# is a set amount. +% isn't. If you have absolutely no Triple Attack. +1% means 1% of your melee attacks will triple attack. If you have absolutely no Triple Attack. +1 means X% of your melee attacks will Triple Attack. X being how much % the +1 actually increases by. +1 isn't the same(in most cases) as +1%. It's not as Lanien said. You do not need Triple Attack to have these work. Say Trip. Attack is a base 20% activation rate. 20%+1% is just that. 21%. It's not a percentage based off your amount of triple attack. It's a clear, cut boost.

You'd have to have a THF parse the difference between thier base triple attack, and triple attack +1 added on to find out how much of a % difference it actually makes.

The dagger is pretty shitty. The 1% Triple Attack doesn't make up for the crap damage on the dagger, so it's really just a toy or just a nice dagger to skill up with.

I have no idea what Lanien is talking about, but the +1 on the boots have parsed out to be +5%, and not just a vague "+1". There is no Triple attack Skill level, it's measured out in percent, the +1's average out to be a certain +%.

The difference between the two is, the boots completely own, and the dagger is a toy.

base triple is 5% right? at 75? and you can merit it 5%? and the af you say is 5%? and honam body +?% Triple? sub war and use brutal, and you get 15% DA?

DA 15% + Triple 15+(?)%
this looks sorta wrong... I don't sub war on other jobs, but i'm assuming its the same base 10%? boots being 5% sounds really overpowered, or wrong, because AF2 double attack for war is still the same as af1 double attack (like 1%)
