well lets see, i am new to the game. and i can;t play right now because my bank account was closed, but i should be back in like 2 or 3 weeks, when i get some paychecks. i ahve some questions, and due to laziness/being drunk i don;t feel like looking it up on the internet. if you flame me, feel free, i just ignore it. i appreciate the people who actually help instead of acting 1337. so here goes...

merit points? (more detailed explanation please)

also i saw something on here where someone talked about another kind of points and there had a chain of them or something (damn beast red kickin my ass) and i would like to know about those.

and last, i am working on alchemy (currently 5 haha) could someone be a dear and give me some help with how to lvl this rather quickly? (i used the search tool and it was just to general ad i dont have time to search every topic it brings up)

and if anyone can tell me what the npc says for what lvl of fame it would also be appreciated. thanks

thanks for anyhelp, and i apologize for any misspellings.

being new to the game is all well and good. but why should someone take Their time to reply to your questions, when you admit that you are too lazy to find the answers yourself.
seems to me that you dont need your hand held anymore than you are accustomed to having.
all of the questions you asked are highly detailed in various guides already, guides posted on many ffxi sites.
you have no time to look for them??
well what makes you think anyone in here has the time to REWRITE them for you, someone too lazy to find them themselves, and apparantly, to drunk to see straight enough to read them if they did.

somone needs to get you a motivational calendar or a roll of inspiring phrase of the day toilet paper or somthing.

i have looked at other sites but have not been able to find the info for the merit points, the other points i was questioning about, and the fame questions. for the alcehemy i was hoping someone who has done it before might give me a few pointers. links to topics or info would have cool. actually typing out info would have been awesome. so thanks

FYI Vang, he said in a eariler post that he wasn't going to level his main until his sub was up-to-date, and was stopped short because of his account expiring.

(Not a flame, just a fyi.)

There are web sites with recipes for Alchemy - just check and see what material you can farm or buy the cheapest - and information on who tells you your fame and what their comments mean when it comes to what level you are.
