Anyone else not like this new layout besides me?

I liked the old one better. This layout is not very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Too much crap going on and the colors suck.
 
I love it!!! It's actually really easy to move around in here. And it's quick as hell (although the true test will be tomorrow mornin'^^).

Also, don't know if you looked but you can change the different formats. just scroll all the way and it's in the lefthand corner, or you can go to your options menu.
 
there are a number of themes available to you under User CP > Options. Change it to something that is easier on your eyes ^~
 
if we could make a new default style to the old qcdn colors and replace that VBulletin (if possible) with the QCDN logo, thatd be nice.
 
To me, almost all of the images are broken :/ I also miss the old setup.

I agree with Tom. It doesn't feel like the way QCDN was :P And I have changed it.. I don't really like the themes given compared to the Dusty Green (or whatever) of the PHP based one. Atleast this one loads a hell of a lot faster
 
Changes are always tricky, people get used to the way things are and any deviation becomes annoying.

If you find a vBulletin 3.5.0 or 3.5.1 style you would like to see implemented, PM me and I will add it in short order. Currently you have the choice between 17 different styles in 6 different layouts.

The logos will eventually be replaced with QCDN ones. I just figured it's more pressing to actually get the forums functional than pretty. Chances are the logos will have to be re-done to a degree, perhaps a logo-contest is in order. The first logo was created by contest, though I do not have any Gil to give out like I did the last time around.

If you have issues with broken images, please either post or PM the current style you are using, which browser, an URL or which image doesn't show up for you.
 
O.O I really like the nightshift theme, much easier on my poor eyes, I like the new boards!
 
My thread was better :/ ...QCDN still looks dumb imo. Because my thread got locked.
 
BP - Grey is the closest you will get to the alternate style on the old boards, and is my favorite out of the mix. I have to sit in front of a computer for hours each day, so any option that doesn't have a white background is a big plus.
 
Eh, it will take some adjustment to get used to this forum style. :/ I have not noticed any change in speed or delay time.

Fixed Picture Smilies- Is there any way to put the option of no smilies back up? Maybe I am blind at 3am but according to the FAQs, it listed an option that smilies could be turned off by unchecking a box.

And how the fuck do you add smileys to a post? ; ; Do you have to use the img tag? =/
 
omfg, I'd asked on the general discussion boards if the site was slow for a reason. Sorry guys n gals, but sculli entered into the picture, and 2 weeks later this site is as fast and responsive as I'd ever have hoped for.

Still getting used to the new format. Yes, it's different, but I don't think its any worse. And now, i can actually see em in less than 5 minutes (so far, less than a second).

So no, I'm very happy with the changes.

The first boards I ever joined was this format. It actullay is what I perfer. The old was okay though. I like this better. Hey, we are recieving a free service. Who are we to complain? Whatever makes things easier on the owner is fine by me.

Just because you don't like the look of it doesn't mean that you don't like the change :P I love the change, but I don't like the layout ^^;

I still have to say good job Sculli. I do wish that it would be possible to somehow use the old layout though =/

Oh well. guess I'll have to adjust to the new layouts
