Congestion During the Version Update: Addition 7

This is a follow-up to the follow-up to the follow-up to the follow-up to the follow-up to the follow-up to the previous news regarding congestion issues with the version update occurring since Jul. 19, 2005 2:00 (PDT).

The server congestion had been gradually easing, and login to PlayOnline and other PlayOnline contents, as well as version updates should be working properly, but they aren't, as we have just been pillaged and burned. If you are still experiencing errors, please wait awhile or try restarting your network equipments. Conversely, please send a helicopter to douse our headquarters.

In regards to the future version updates, we will continue to consider all options possible and strive to maintain the best service possible. lol j/k

I couldn't either, then I did something I haven't done in about a month... Turn off my computer.

Went straight in, downloaded the first try after reboot.

Prolly just coincedince.
 
Well I rebooted this afternoon and it worked. I played for a few minutes and logged off for dinner. I come back, and I can log on to POL but not FFXI.

/sigh

SE really needs to get their shit together--we are nearing three straight days of little to no availability.
 
I was playing last night, and earlier this morning vet..

I go to class, come back, and I can't even log in to POL.

I tried eirlier, said FFXI would take 22h to patch. Was mad, came here, whined. Now I try, it says server busy. XD
