Anyone else suddenly having to update Playonline?

It seems like I have lost my Playonline saved information. I don't know how that happened, because I haven't done anything major. It is possible though that when I installed and ran AVG for the first time last night it deleted some of my saved info, thinking it was suspicious or something, I guess. If other people are also having to do this though, I may be fine.

But yeah, anyone else having to suddenly update? I don't like all this talk of people getting their shit hacked and me suddenly needing to re-enter all my information...

Don't enter it. The virus/hack/w.e can control what your screen shows. One of the "hints" you had the keylogger on your computer was that you had to input your password etc. again, even though it was saved. You should really search for the files on your computer to see if they're on your system. If they're not, THEN enter it again.

hmm yeah thats the weird thing. I already looked for all those files and logging on is he only thing I've actually done since installing and running all the virus checkers. So honestly, if there has been a change and a chance for me to get the virus, it came from AVG itself, because I haven't done anything else with my computer but play final fantasy and run/install/download AVG since the last time I logged on.

none, I Have just been soloing outside of old bastok, so I haven't had any need to visit those sites. At least not for a couple weeks now. I only would use ffxiah out of those three pages anyways, and have been using firefox for years now. That's why I am questioning it. I haven't done any of the things people have pointed back to being a root source for the trojans. Only thing I have done on that computer since the last time I played (and everything was fine then) was download and install AVG.
