Anyone else having unusually bad lag or lock ups outside of ToAU zones as of late? I play on a PS3 and since the past 2 emergency maintenances my R is off the wall. Constant R0's, and just recently I locked up in the Hall of Gods when I clicked the door to go up to sky. Was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this.
 
I've been having random R0's more than I usually do in a lot of areas. I just settled for blaming it on Comcast.
 
I've been getting lag spots every so often. Where It's just lag, in that one spot, no where else. And It's heavy lag, 10 Seconds for the menu to come up..I'm getting mads. :S
 
Same here. My R in sky is insane. Not just when it's packed too, and it lags to hell. I blame the moss on the walls, but it looks like that's not it.
 
What systems are yall using? ps2,3, 360, or pc? im looking for a common link.

and yes I have been R0ing constantly esp when i exped with my ls a few days ago had about 10 dcs in one day wtf
 
Slightly...on topic, I haven't had problems outside of Whitegate. I hope it stays that way.
 
I don't have problems when I'm in the chocobo circuit... Maybe it's just retardation.

i got through about 38 of them today (number based on time taken)

I'm beginning to wonder if the lag issues may be due to the fact the new expansion are coming soon. I seem to remember having similar issues right before ToAU came out, but I dont remember them being as bad as they are now. It's really becoming annoying, especially in exp and sky scenarios.
 
Perhaps they've uploaded something that's for the expansion and it's causing errors because the server is trying to load it up, but you know, can't?

That's probably not the case, but if they didn't disable it or something, it could be like any computer and be slowed down or restart because of trying to loop the file(s) in, but being unable to.

Oh well, I can stay in the chocobo circuit. It's nice.
 
Nevermind. I disconnected in the circuit too. My modem keeps resetting itself and stuff... I was talking to a GM when I disconnected too. xD
