Anyone ever have this problem with their mouse

I have a USB bluetooth wireless mouse for my laptop, and for the last couple of days a lot of times when I click it, it double clicks, and I know I'm only hitting it once.

Anyone else ever have this happen?

When's the last time you changed the batteries?
The software won't always tell you when the battery level gets too low and your mouse can start these kinds of antics.

How far are you holding the mouse from the receiver? I'd assume you're working right next to it, but if you're waving it about halfway across the room it might do weird things.

I'd also suggest making sure you have the most recent drivers. If that doesn't fix it then it might be time to start looking into getting a new mouse.

What version of windows are you using? I think there used to be a feature in control panel that allowed for this sort of thing.

*Has re-read your post*: The way you word it implies the double click thing doesn't happen all the time, so it may be time for a new mouse.
