You should play WoW. People don't even do it discretely(sp?). They just stand in the middle of Stormwind and /s "COme to this site for gold". There everyday, and most times.

They do this nonstop in LotRO as well as spaming your mailbox with messages. Fortunately, they're usually gone within about 5 minutes of GMing them but they reproduce like the Hydra.

GuildWars had advertisers for goldfarmers in Pre-Searing Ascalon City (starting zone for everyone). It was damn annoying, then ArenaNet started banning everyone that spammed that stuff.
