I think they took the servors offline, while they fix the holes in their security. Better this than have everyone's levels, gil, and armor messed up from hackers Unless of course, they increase my level and my total gil, then its ok.

There is a normal progression to the S-E updates:

Step 1: Critical update
Step 2: Critical failure
Step 3: New critical update to repair the first

However, this is not an error this time. It's a new patch to reduce lag. lol
