Anyone here use WinASO Registry Optimizer? (need advice)

I think since ever i remove ad-aware 7 manually because their uninstalling auto thing sucks and won't let me uninstall it.. i think i have some minor registy error or something.. when i check for bad file using cmd and check disk, it found some error but can't fix it because is "read only" thingy, and when i try to use checkdisk during booting, it found no error.


I was wondering is there any software out there that fix error at the same time doesn't %$uk up the window itself?

on download.com i hear good review about WinASO, so should i get it or... i should leave my computer alone?


edit: Since there is a lot of fake program out there about your computer is being infected with virus and warm and tell you to scan it now, and download it end up getting trojan and virus from the fake stuff (example of fake programs: http://www.symantec.com/business/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2008-031213-2813-99&tabid=2")
I know is from download.com but ya.. i need something that really work well and doesn't screw up the computer :/
