I have an upsession with theme songs for some reason. I was browsing through Youtube and found these:

1. Final Fantasy VII battle music remasterd - It sounds fucking epic. Orchestra (sp?) I think.

2. Battle themes I - X. I think III is the original. My personal favourite is IV.

3. Final fantasy I - XII boss battle themes.

I love listening to these, brings back some nostalgic emotions and makes me want to play them again, which I will.

I can never listen to music while playing another game for some reason. I don't listen to theme songs while playing other games, lol. Its just that I need to hear the music of the game. Especially playing ffxi, I can't listen to music. It's weird.

Not that wierd actually, some of my friends are like this. It's really annoying too that they insist on having game music when we play multiplayer even when it's a racing game or fighting game or some bullshit >< RPG's I can understand somewhat, because the music has an infulence on setting the mood and the ambiance. I still prefer my music though. ...Although I gotta say I'm a sucker for Sephiroth's theme, especially the Advent Children metal version.

(Before you flame me, I'll admit right away there's music out there I've not heard, and is prolly good. And that my music tastes are different than yours, and therefor what I think sucks, you might thing is awesome)Why did I put that there? Non-confrontational, to an extreme

Now that that's said...

Almost every piece of music sitting on my hard drive is a video game song, original or remix. I've always liked them, esp RPG songs. Most other music I don't like at all. There's a reason I can't listen to the radio, at all.

I do like classical music too, as long as it's, for lack of a better word, complicated (along with everything else really).

I don't think anyone would have flamed you even without the disclaimer....it's ok to not like most music. If you like "complicated" music, I'd suggest Tool :D Specifically the album Lateralus.

Cant stand that band, but who am I to judge another Metallica freak like me?

I find it so interesting how people can be so different. Me and Exo are both huge Metallica fans, and yet my second favorite band, Tool, who I love just as much as Metallica but for different reasons, repulses him. It's true that no two people have the exact same tastes. I find that amazing.

I love video game music! I have a wide variety of music, though. I love music from classical to rock to metal to rap to soundtracks...
If it's good, I like it :)

I was able to right-click it and save it to my desktop. Any more details other than "it won't work"?

Sorry, not much help, but it's late and I'm tired

I love video game theme songs and various VG music, especially the ones from FF. When I was younger and first into FF, I would always download MIDI files for just about every FF song available from this vgmusic.com site, and also midis from other games too.

I'd would always listen to these songs while on my computer, especially when I was writing my stories, it helped me think and be more creative and such. I still and always will enjoy listening to FF music, but in FFXI, after playing the game for so long, especially when you're exping, the music gets repeative and boring after awhile, which is when I put on my own music, or other FF songs :p but when I'm in a new area, zone, missions, or cutscenes, or major battle, I'll keep the FFXI music playing.

Out of all the battle music themes, I'd have to say FFX is my favourite.. and out of the boss ones, I'd have to say FF3...

Thanks dude. I tried it, opened it in iTunes, and it only plays 21 seconds out of like 2:31 of it's actual song.

First off, where the hell did you find that!? Cause I've spent the past half-day searching, and have had no luck (however, I did find a really good version of the Gustaberg theme in the process)

Secondly:

Hmm, it plays through the entire track in windows media player 10. I can't check iTunes, as I don't (and won't) have it on my PC. Did you try it on something other than iTunes? If it still fails, I can e-mail it to you. I really don't mind, as it's a good song. If you want it that way, PM me, I'll send it off using my crazyass hotmail account. If not, leave and let live.

ff10 has some of the best theme music, i still have my disk with tidus placed in the area so i can turn ff10 on while i play ffxi
