anyone on here play on a laptop please help...

My friends lap top crashed and she got it fixed she logged into Ffxi yesterday and for some strange reason her num pad doesn't work so she can't move her character, menus or log in or out would anyone know why?

She probaly needs to reset it to compact keyboard settings.

um... I have to press another key (called Fn) to be able to use num pad
but on laptop its better to use game pad

Agreed. I use a laptop and have a game pad plugged into it. Even when you Fn the 'keypad' on, it's still weird and doesn't line up like a real keypad. I guess if a person gets used to it, then it doesn't feel weird to them, but I don't think I'd be able to get used to Fn the keypad on and off to be able to type something else.
