Anyone try Fable?

Im looking into it and it does seem interesting, i went to Blockbuster today but none were in stock @_@ but of course thats what i did expect... i was gonna try burnout 3 but i decided ill stick with ffxi for abit :D
 
I heard Fable has some quirks but overall, it's enjoyable. Its not as open-ended as it was claimed to be though.

Burnout 3 is, I guess, the best racing game out in recent years.

Go Xbox!
 
My roomy is playing it...NON STOP! He can't harp on me anymore for playing too much FFXI now 8)
 
I've played about 4 hours of it. It's fun but not super amazing. I think a lot of people will be dissapointed for the simple fact that it was hyped so much for so long...to take as long as it did and leave out so much of what was originally promised was a big mistake on their part. However, it's a solid game...but really, shouldn't have take so long for what it ended up as.
 
Well, I am hooked. There are so many things to do, and choices to make - it is like one big Choose-Your-Own-Adventure....no other game that I know of is made this way. (*If you know of any, please let me know so I can check em out) I dig the characters, the "moral" tests. I have already started my path to Evil, but am also doing good quests, to mess with people's heads. IT ROCKS
 
Dirgesong insists that it is not only a flawless game, but also that he's never had more fun playing a game... and he's played ALOT of games.
 
I'll agree, the Hype took a little Bit of It's Sheen, but it is easily one of the most Fun Games I have Played, and I have lots of Games.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - In my opinion, the finest non-Final Fantasy RPG ever.

My roomates in the living room right now playing Fable, I watched him play a little bit. Looks pretty cool, heh, he's already got horns growning from his head and a red glowy aura, not to mention red glowing eyes. I dont think he's even really that far into the game too. :shock:
 
Fable is fun! all I gotta say I got glued to it when I went to my friends place. Now a horrible RPG is Morrowind Gold or what ever its name is... my brother brought shame to my computer the day he installed it.
 
Bottom line: If you bit into the hype, you will be disapointed with Fable.

If you are able to view it for what it is, and not what it was supposed to be, it is one of the most enjoyable games I've played all year. Im about 16 hours in, and will probably give it a 2nd or 3rd playthrough.

Didnt the same thing happen with Black & White?

The game looks awesome though, wish I had a X-box so I can play it.

You mean Snore-owind? I have it for Xbox. So what if you can go anywhere and do anything if it's not fun?
 
FABLE - is it true that if you are evil, you can't have sex? I read somewhere that the women will view you as too ugly and have nothing to do with you. I am on my evil path right now, but am will to do some good deeds for a while if it gets me some..... :twisted:

I wasn't aware there was sex in that game.. :shock: But as far as being evil goes, you can still get the chicks as long as you flatter/lie to them the right way. ROFL. My roomate had to woo a chick so she would follow him to be sacrificed. He did, and she would still respond to him as being absolutely the most gorgeous thing she'd ever seen. His character did have devil horns sticking out of his head, evil tribal marks on his face, red glowing eyes, and an evil red aura.. but she still though he was absolutely hawt. He told me he had another chick that wanted to marry him.. so.. yeah, evil dudes can get what they want as well. lol
