Anyone use Alertpay for sending money?

Im trying to sell my 360, and an interested buyer is offering to send a Secure International Money Order through Alertpay (alertpay.com). Ive never heard of this service so I was wondering how it works. How do I recieve payment?

Do not deal with Money Orders! Especially if they are overseas. In most cases Money Orders are a safe way of sending money but only to trusted recipients. Money Orders are the target of fraud however and many sites that may look to be legit are setup quickly and temporarily to rip people off.

I had a friend get ripped out of of $1500 through Ebay with a money order transaction. He ever had an escrow service and eveyrthing, but it was all a fraud, and after getting ripped off the Escrow website was deleted shortly after and no emails or service centers would help because a Money order is like cash, and theirs no insurance.

Use paypal or insist on Western Union or something. And make sure you have the cash in your hand and in the bank or something before you send anything.

Yeah Decidence thanks for the word of advice. I made it clear to the buyer I wouldnt even consider shipping until the money was in my hand. So well see what he says.
