AoE ws skillchains?

Was tossin this idea around with a buddy, thought it'd be pretty cool to light up a couple mobs, then watch em get bursted with an aga. Just be a smörgåsbord of color on screen.

I'ma guess no. But, i think it'd be pretty darn spiffy.

I actually tried testing this myself. The answer is no. I did Circle Blade -> some AoE BLU spell (Grand Slam I think? I don't remember now...). It only made a SC on the main target, even though it hit 3 gobs (with both the WS and the spell).

They can close skillchains but as far as I know the burstability only applies to the specific mob targeted with both the opener and closer.

The closest I've ever heard to anything like this was once when my bro was leveling his SAM in CN.

Party was 2x SAM, 2x DRK, BLM, and NIN. They were fighting a crawler when another linked, so they split up, SAM+DRK on each with the NIN and BLM going back and forth. By some stroke of luck, all 4 melee had 100+tp , the 2 DRK did Slice pretty much back to back, then SAM's did Tachi:Enpi nearly simultaniously, and the BLM cast Blizzaga and burst 2 Distortion chains at once.
