K, I hate AP classes! AHHH! damn them to hell! this senior year, supposed to be my best year, im stuck with 2 AP classes! AP biology and AP computer science (aka AP Java). My life is ruiined, THye are soo hard! Anyone ever take Java? the most confusing "launguege(sp?) in the world! to type a damn line u have to type:

System.out.println("HI!");

very monotness and boring.
AP bio is just as worse. 5 pages on water! WTF! ugh
sorry guys im extemely bored and supposed to be doing my french homrework right now ; ; which is french 4, not AP ^^

Advanced Placement. For the smart people. I never was smart enough to get into an AP class. Yet again, I never worked hard enough.

Actually Advanced Placement is a glimpse, so that American's can see what the rest of the world perceives as normal material in senior highschool classes.

nah o.O my brain wouldnt be able to handle it anyway =/

Only because the years leading up to AP didn't prepare you for it. Without to start a flame war or anything, but the stuff the U.S. is teaching in 100 and 200 level college classes is senior year highschool material in Germany.

Considering how much I like college and how well I've done there as opposed to High School (College GPA: 3.76; High School GPA: 1.79) maybe I should've taken AP classes. I didn't do shit in High School because it wasn't challenging, hence, wasn't interesting.

AP Statistics and Trigonometry

Its mathematical, blokes.

Do four years of AP English and four years of AP science count? What about AP French? If so, then yes.

I am taking a sort of AP class right now, called the IB Program. (International Baccalaureat(sp?)) It's an international program that is considered "most rigorous" in terms of course selection. So I know the shit involved with advanced classes. Kinda sucks the fun out, but I'm told it helps in the long run...I'm yet to find out if colleges are more likely to take me...

Good luck, though. IB isn't too bad, with the exception of cutting in on my FFXI time... :x :x More power to you!

Took AP: Comp. Sci., Calculus, Physics, English, Government, Euro Hist, and Amer Hist in HS. Good classes, but all they seemed to do was boost my unit count in college so that I could get my class sign up time earlier.

I was in ap classes from 3rd grade on up(and i still can't spell well)... In elementary we refered to it as AT (academicly talented) and in junior high and high school it was called Magnet Programs. Also did Constitution Team and Model United Nations for 4 years. Good times.

"Gifted" in elementary, "honors" in middle school, and "AP" in high school. I freely admit to #1 goofing off during class, #2 sleeping in class, #3 doing all homework during homeroom the day it'd due, and finally #4 still ending high school with a 3.5 GPA. Don't ask. I still don't know how it happened. I think it was because i'm so darn cute!
And here's something all of you kiddies not yet in high school should try. When you get to 10th grade, ask to take a simple little test that will allow you to dual enroll in college for high school credit. You'll always be stuck with a local college, but if you were planning on going there anyway, it's ok then. I ended high school with 1 1/2 years done in college and it was all free. Got to love it! :wink:
