I've thought about one large fix to our strategy, which may or may not work. That being bring only one PLD. "The kid" seems to really only cast magic, and it's -ga magic so having a tank or not makes no difference for him. We should bring one only, who will tank Kam-<insert name> until "The Kid" is dead. Bringing one PLD will leave room to bring another melee to add to the SC damage.
Some other things that could help:
- Bring a white mage
- Bring an icraus wing (you know who I'm talking about)
- Make this a one time only battle, go all out, 2hrs, great meds, etc.
- Have black mage (me) use ES and then try a tier 3 magic to try and land it before he teleports
- There are weapons out there with a latent effect of stun. This would help greatly on "The Kid". It worked niceley on diablos prime.
I'm still hoping people can provide us with some insight, but I feel the suggestions above may help as well. Making our run at a time earlier than 2am may also help so people aren't trying to stay awake, and can concentrate on the battle.
