What's the jyst of this fight? Sounds like a 6-man DM battle from the looks of that suggested roster. My CoP static wants to tackle this after we finish off CoP & ZM, but all we have at 70+ is:

WAR
WAR
RDM
BLM or BST
WHM
WHM or BRD

Can I get some input here without spoiling the story? I don't know who the fight involves or anything.

Your setup is decent Cmdr. W/o letting you in on the story. Need a stun gun to hold one mob in place. A kiter to run another around. Definately not going to need 2 whms for the fight.
 
You fight 2 enemys. TP Spam is a must as I said before (ie. Need to take one badguy down extremely fast because he spams AGA-magic).

Hopefully that didn't give anything away.
 
Thanks guys, both for the info and the secrecy. Our rdm has /drk levelled so stungun is a go. I've got a bit of kiting experience and Mot can rip the shit outta the dude that needs to be shit-ripped, and with a pair of 2hr'd warcharged 300% Steel Cyclones to open, I'm guessing the first mob will be relatively easy to finish with blm nukes.
 
BLM Nukes suck balls. I believe my Burst II (or Thunder IV), fully merited Elemental Skill/Thunder Potency did a paltry 500 damage. My next nuke was way less. Don't rely on BLM to take it down.
 
So we should get the blm to come as bst instead? 2hr a Cactuar jug pet or something?
 
Yea whatever Alanon can do to do Spike Damage. Mind if I come along and we can do the fight for me too? :D

When are you guys running it?
 
Its actually Rorschach not Alanon... but they did pick the same mains so I presume it's a gilseller controlling both accounts. The proof is in the pudding.

We're still probably a month or so away. We only run once a week so gotta finish CoP, then the ZMs, then do Bahamut and whatever else to precursor Nigh...

Keep in touch with Motley. If you guys don't get your AN run done by the time we're ready to do ours, let him know and he'll pass the word on to us. If we can win this easily enough I don't mind doing 2 runs. Might need someone to bring their lv1 COR so we can get 2hr's reset (hopefully).
 
Wow hes 75? Crazy. Thanks for the heads up. Might take some time to do Bahamut though, but I think there is alot of people who need it. I know a run hasnt been scheduled on here for a long time so you will probably get some good support.
 
Well Ror is only 71 I think atm, but yeah he bombshelled through from 60 over the course of... christ, a couple weeks? He's mental. Just like Al.
 
When are you guys planning this? I did this a long time ago, but if you need any help, I would be more than willing to help depending on the time/date. It's a fun battle!

P.S. - It's relatively easy; we did it 1/1 easily with only 5 ppl a few months ago.
 
It'd be at least a month, but if we're needing hands I'll definitely look for you. Thanks for the offer.
 
You'll still want a BLM, but the BLM is for stun and for fighting the second. The first is a complete melee zerg with possible a MB.
