Sorry to waste everyone's time, but I wanted to apologize for my irresponsibility. I was so late to Elcurago's Promivyon IV that I think I held up the entire alliance.

I am so sorry to anyone and everyone who was affected by my grand display of newbishness today. I've been so busy this week that I have had no time to do anything ffxi wise too much. Again I am sorry that I wasted your time, and I hope you all did well on your run today.

The run was a disaster and it was all your fault. =p just kidding, not out night on the run, but we all had a good time except for a few hiccups.
 
hey, no worries xelos. too bad you couldn't make it but it's cool. it was a blast until the end (and even parts of that was fun) :D
 
yeah we almost made it up Holla with just 2 WAR/NIN, 2 MNK/WAR, BLM/WHM and a WHM/BLM, only snag was finding the MR on the third floor, which caused us to die by avoiding aggro, then my damned power went out so i couldnt do round 2
 
Yea, that was crazy... I had the (rather insane) idea of going melee against the MR's, seeing as how we really didn't have any ranged attack, and it worked amazingly well. Push up against the pillars surrounding the MR so that Empty Seed doesn't send you flying, and beat on the thing for about 1 minute until it dies. And we woulda made it to the BCNM if the 3rd level NM hadn't been in the way...

So to all you who say you need a RNG to find those MR's, you don't, you just need common sense and an idea of what the spawn points look like.
