Bastok is currently the leading nation, meaning that many vendors in Bastok are selling items that are otherwise impossible to buy from a vendor, this applies to conquest point purchases as well.
This is the perfect time to max your Windurst fame if you have nothing better to do. Head over to Harmodios's Music Shop at K-10 and buy as many Cornettes as you can. Send them to your Windurst character and head over to turn them into Yoran-Oran's Manor at E-5 (Windurst Walls) and hand them to Yoran-Oran for a reward of 200gil and Windurst fame.
The nice thing about this quest is that you don't need to zone between turn-ins. So just take all your gear and whatever else you are carrying off and load up on as many Cornettes as you can and go to town.
I was able to buy the Cornettes in Bastok at 253gil.
I turned in about 70 Cornettes last night and went from Windurst fame rank 3 (Oh, you're the Sculli that people are starting to talk about. I've heard good things about you.) to fame rank 5 (Hello there <name>! There aren't many Windurstians who don't know that name. We're all proud to have you on our side! Keep up the great work!).
