Just stop being a mod if you don't have the common sense to determine what's a flame, and whats simply a post telling someone to shut up because everyones tired of seeing the same diarrhea flow in every other topic.

I really don't mind your mindless flame there bud... in fact it will probably give several people a great chance to finally release a shit load of steam. I'm sure Jamal will enjoy his fair share of digs here. The funny thing is, the reported posts I review, follow the exact same bullshit dribble you supplied in the "New Tank" topic. So yea, my definition of flaming is sound by community standards.

Afterall, that is what QCDN seems to like most. Community accepted rules.

Take your BST, and leave the endgame topics to the people that actually do endgame. I dislike Jamal, but at least he has half a mind for what he's saying. What do you offer? Stop telling people that, even though they offer 'unique' ideas, who actually do endgame, to shut the fuck up. I don't believe I have ever talked to Hellstorm in game, and certainly less than 5 times on QCDN.

Besides... what the hell is up with the timing for this topic? Do you just want some controversy? Why didn't you post this shit when I made such a huge mistake with StanDarsh's account? You could have at least posted something then. You might have had the masses screaming with pitchforks and staves.

So just because I don't do it anymore means I don't have a say in it now? Pretty piss poor thinking there, boyo. Hellstorms ideas aren't unique, they're fucking stupid. Someone would actually agree with him if they actually were unique. No one does. No one has.

What's there to say? There isn't really much to it. He's an awful moderator. He doesn't move posts, simply deletes them. He has really pathetic judgment in dealing out infractions(I don't have an issue in recieving them, if they're atleast warranted.) And the funny part is, even that he does delete posts, he doesn't deleting the ones quoting said post. So theres really nothing solved in the process.

A post that actually made me reconsider my apathy for this thread... and so quick. I'm impressed... and on the flameboard too.

I really don't care what people say about me. What I can't stand are people that absolutely refuse to utilize any measure of respect when posting on an internet board just because it is on the internet. But thats fine, I can overlook certain degrees of disrespect. I won't however just let someone use me to make a point about others. If you want to call me out Skaw, do it. I'll answer all your concerns with a little less provocation on my part since Sharpe is absolutely right.

Hellstorm has nothing to do with me, my moderating abilities, or how I treat the people he/she interacts with.

I'll take all the complaints here with open arms, and if necessary, reply to them.

They also volunteered, and new what they were getting into, so you can stop the violins.

Just because he's a mod, doesn't mean he's not a member of the forum. He have every right to defend himself and have some fun while he's at it when someone start a thread about him.

Personally I think he's doing a pretty good job. If I was a mod, I'd still argue with everyone and be a general asshole. But I'd ban people for shouting at me while I'm at it. Its a win/win situation. Can argue with people, and then ban them when they swear at me, thus further improving their frustration. Its a win/win situation. For me, anyway. I'd be the most hated mod throughout the ages :D I'd rule QCDN like Hitler ran Germany. refuse to listen to what anyone says, and only have 1 person that tell me what the situation actually looks like. And then ban him if he doesn't agree.

...and keep laughing at the silly flame, can't think of any mod that hasn't had mud thrown at; you can say such and such(for or against), but people pretty much have made their minds up at this point. Arc's a fair mod, don't agree with all decisions but he's been more than lenient.

To be honest i'd come in all guns blazing if it was me, however that's why I would never agree to moderate this site. Maybe it's just me but I prefer to see the mod's act more calmly etc. (I can't explain properly atm, i've been doing far too much Uni work lately and not slept properly.) However Arcty's reply to my post is the sort of thing I meant.

You're sloppy. You don't do your job right. And beyond that, you don't even do it completely. You either have really bad judgment, or blatant favoritism for "the little guys."

Hellstorm was just an example, since posts directed to him are the most noticably removed(again, because you don't remove/edit posts quoting those that are removed,) yet leave many other serious cases of "flamebaiting"(Or simply full on flames) alone.

Sure, mods are volunteers. But if you're going to volunteer, do the job right. Habitat For Humanity doesn't just let people that beat hammers with rocks stay on board. If you aren't going to do the job right, don't do it at all.
 
Well, thats supposed to be "beat rocks with hammers," but I supposed the effect would result in the same outcome.
