Are some parts of the rules now antiquated?

So does that mean all derogatory remarks are now allowed in the QCDN forums? Therefore making all attacks on any person a non-offence.
 
Sounds like Alyada was just trying to find an excuse to call Windaria a bitch, and it backfired :nono:

I'd also like to add to that, from the perspective of a mod that spoke his mind and told it like it was, a bitch is a bitch is a bitch. Just because it's a mod saying it doesn't change the facts. Yet the same people that complain time and time again are the same people that will always have a problem with mods expressing truths and honesty.

Mainly this comes from the comment that the site admin made about the rules. Kinda like when a judge passes judgment, it changes laws or upholds them. Well in my eyes that comment from the "site admin" changed the rules. Where as if sculli was still admin that rule would still be in effect, but from the current admins stand on it, that rule is now null and void.
 
No, the rules don't change. At least yet. I'm working on getting the FB back so people can have their outlet of frustration & anger (myself included).

I'm only human. Sometimes I just want to flip a lid on someone on this forum. Sometimes I do. I'm going to make it a rule that on days when I'm ready to kill a bitch, I stay away from QCDN. I don't take back what I said, but it was wrong of me as a Mod/Admin to speak my mind so freely. At least that's the general consensus. Some of you think it's cool, and I thank you for speaking up about it. I apologize for disregarding the rules as such, however.

Whatever happens will happen, I say. If you see me stripped of mod/admin, then you can be sure a select few finally got their way. We'll see. I'm going to do my best for the board. I'm not sure if people want an impartial jury or not. I shouldn't have locked Meeze's thread because, honestly, I thought it had some merit (this thread delivers).

Hey genius, the "site admin" didn't alter or counteract the rules. Aly's a temporary admin. Reeve didn't insult someone.

So what you are saying is temp admin is different than full admin. Funny, because I thought that all admins have the same power.

Regardless though Aly already said that what was said "was wrong of me as a Mod/Admin to speak my mind so freely" It's over. No rules change yet.
 
What Tyrath and Meeze said; Loop-hole. Windaria is no longer a qcdn "member" (if you look, their name is no longer on the Members List anymore), hence she/he/whatever is exempt from the Flaming rule.

Really shaunessy, all this effort to show up an admin, why bother?

Frankly I'd like to see a rule where any posts flaming/baiting a member that's banned should be deleted. Her rep has been ruined enough, I personally don't think we need to keep bringing her back into the picture. People got what they wanted, should just drop her. :(

I agree. And another thing, the whole "non-QCDN members can be flamed" thing is pretty silly in the first place. Does that mean that I can just randomly pick Quetzalcoatl players that I know don't post here and flame the unholy shit out of them and that's okay to do? Because I don't know about you guys, but that seems pretty low to me.

I'd apply it to banned members, because they were likely banned for a reason.
 
So basically what you're saying is that to the very very small number of people banned from these forums (mainly for flaming), we should be allowed to do the very thing that got them banned in the first place? So boot them for doing something and then it's fair game to do it back to them, when they can't even defend themselves? That's a mature way to handle rules.

But here's the clincher...if you do, I sadly cannot delete or modify your post if you do, unless it is really harsh. There is no rule against that yet...but I have brought it up with very little response from the uppers. :(

Here is my stance on people like Windy, Kire, and WSM. They dug their own graves in the minds of many. While there are people who like them (I personally think WSM is a good guy and hang out with him time to time), defending them is useless. They set the bar for themselves and it is low as far as reputation goes.

If someone holds a grudge against WSM, there is nothing I can say to stop that, because WSM himself chose to talk all that shit. Windy herself chose to act how she did, and Kire himself chose to act how he did. For the most part they still act up, and the "defenders" are turning a blind eye saying "well what about that guy over there".

Well, a convicted felon committing another crime is going to get a harsher penalty than someone who commits their first offense. Their bad rep didn't happen over night, they spammed the boards with useless nonsense and flamed for the smallest offenses, and now they are stuck with what they put out for people to see.
