I wouldn't say I'm a QCDN celebrity, but I am a Dragoon Celebrity. That isn't saying much though lol

Well after the flameboard thread about my past profession I got tons of tells ranging from complimentary to extremely strange. I get about 20 waves a day from people I don't know. Am I?

Am I a QCDN celeb? Hell no. I've done nothing here to make my name be known, my name isnt very memorable, nor have I done anything note-worthy in-game to be remembered by.

Yet, somehow.. somehow people still recognize me. I'll get a /tell from someone I see in passing.

"{Found it!} QCDN right?"

"Ya, lol. I was gonna say something to you but didnt wanna seem bothersome"

That sort of thing.

I think Sneakypants was the first person to /wave to me. Lol. I still remember that ;_;/ out in Buburimu.

Funny how some people around here are too self-absorbed to even wave back when you know they are there. Just a certain some...And they are all the same way. Too cool for their shoes. All right!

I think I have only once gotten a /tell from someone who reconized<sp> me from QCDN.. and There is some little taru.. Moriki.. who keeps waving too me.. kinda worries me.. but other then that I don't think anyone knows me because of this site, many people i get a /wave or a /tell from I knew long before I even joined this site.

(I get more tells saying "Yankees Suck!" and/or "Go SOX!!!" Than anything, probably 2-3 times a day haha)

I usually get tells about certain posts, a lot of times just out of the blue.

I have had about 20 low to mid lvl Smns thank me for that one post I made about Summoner making me want to quit. The High lvl Smns didn't feel the same way about it. A couple of them were even offended ; ;

All in all...

Here I will tell you what is wrong, that my reply to Sneakypants post of "flashbulbs going off when I exit my moghouse" saying "It's sensitivity to light, it's from too much drugs" got deleted upon request by Sneakypants because it falls under "flaming" in these new rules. Obviously a joke since its referring to a fictional post by Sneakypants himself and not even a reply to Sneakpants personally but a reply based on the diagnosis, but still since the context of my reply could be interpreted as a personal attack it was removed.

If you take away all creative aspects of posting replies you take away everyones character and in the end I don't even see the point in people having usernames anymore since you won't be able to tell the difference anyways.

EDIT: maybe this should of been in the other thread about whats wrong with QCDN Guidelines.

Ya... think he was the first(maybe only) QCDN person to wave to me. Or did I wave to him first.... can't remember.

i wouldnt say qcdn celeb, but im a celeb in my own right from my vids and songs and my site...the past two years i recieve tells daily about my work and emails from every server!
 
I don't get the premise of this thread. Granted some people have said they hate the way I play in tells to me though, and I ask myself "when did I party, or do anything with them, in game?" Then I do a search of there character and find out that it's someones mule that doesn't like me on the boards and understand. Other people have told me they agree with some of the stuff that I say here though too, but to consider yourself a celeb....... I don't know.
