I'll preface this by saying I wasn't there and am not familiar with BoL or WYS or Busta or the situation.
But I do know common sense, and when someone acts in good faith (i.e. Busta giving the noble's back and asking for a chance to earn it again), you don't stab them in the face. Breaking his pearl means you aren't even interested in giving him the opportunity to give back to the shell in order to reclaim what you gave him.
Don't trip. Understand RL happens. Follow your own rules. Don't cheat your members, senior or otherwise. Have some fucking integrity.

Yeah, you're right about WYS talking about activity being laughable in which he wasn't active alot back in the day due to work and shit, but the other leads still kept it going, but the fact that we had practically given away tunics to whms that disappear after was what has WYS concerned when Busta just got back after a month or so.

I was in the LS a lot and I never heard shit about that. I assumed when people earn and recieve items that they are theirs and that's how it seemed the entire time I was there.

Wow, this thread is heavy. I, of course, agree with Fire and his comments, but we agree 98% of the time anyway. I can add that the policy of OH was you get your tunic but it was not actually yours til you were in the shell for 6 months. I can remember people goin' apeshit over that who were outside of our LS saying it was pretty crappy. Sorry, but I'm just too damn tired to look up the thread right now. I do believe it was either the one that Eladami(sp?) or Deci. Now you have this happening to you and you're saying completely different. I'm not judging, I'm just asking all the BoL people to think about that thread.
Secondly, when Euph took some time off the game, he lent his nobles out. When I was not playing as much, there was a time Proph asked me to lend another whm my nobles, which I did. It was for Kirin on a Sunday or something and I wasn't goin' to be able to attend. In my own case, during the summer months I was not as active as I wanted to be, BUT I was still ingame at least 2 times per week camping Faf/Nidhogg and I was always on on Sundays when we did Kirin.
When I left OH, it was because the shell was gonna be broken cuz Proph had personal crap goin' on and we hadn't heard from him for a tad. Needless when he came back, there were circumstances that had happened where I couldn't go back to OH on my part. To this day though, Proph and I remain in contact and our friends, along with quite a few other OH members. IF I were to ever quit playing this game, everything that Proph and OH helped me achieve would be given back to them. Of this I have no doubt. Yes I earned my gear, but so did they. That's how I feel it.
As far as WYS booting Busta from the shell ... sorry WYS, I know it's not my business, but dude really shitty thing to do. Busta, in his defense, you should've owned up to your inactiveness and answered your leader.

How can y'all even think to judge this boy like you are when all he's trying to do is be a good mate to Pepsii and a wonderful father to his baby girl? Every child is different. Every woman handles pregnancy, birth and post partum differently. Really really think about that guys.

Ok lets throw some real facts in this. 1st off BoL has been dicked over by countless WHMs, as long as I can remember. Logic is simple, reality wise Bustaballs was never around as much as he claimed he was. Wow.. show up to a Kirin or two, come to dynamis once a week, but skipping everything else?
In the beginning (like all whms claim) "I'll show up, I won't be like other WHMs, give me a chance, blah blah blah, bullshit, bullshit bullshit" but hey.. I have a sincere heart and willing to give chances to other upcoming WHMs, because noones the same (boy I overthought that too soon). In acutality of really "Way less than 2months" of showing up, me and the other leaders decide to craft a Nobles for Busta (ONLY BECAUSE) we thought he would live up to his part, and begin to show "More" dedication as he did in those "-2months of activeness". Sure nuff what happens after he gets it? {Good bye} {See you again!}.
Understand this whole argument is mainly directed towards the audience as "But did you ever stop to think about the baby? MY GOD DAMN REAL LIFE PROBLEMS?!?!" for which it is in no shape, form or fashion supposed to be based in that aspect. This whole issue is merely about "Disrespectful" issues so bringing the whole "baby" thing into play is out of proportion. RL should never be associated with this game, I have never enforced that, by all means go handle your RL priorities before u even play, so seeing that Busta keeps bringing up his RL problems, and that everyone here seems to feed off that, thats your alls problem, it has nothing to do with the essence of this issue. I don't give a flying fuck about peoples problems, I have my own.

But I work a full time job, and go to college taking 4 classes a semester, and yet I have priorities that I handle inside and out of this game. Wondering where he's been all this time? The reason why BoL HANDED you a nobles within 2 weeks was simply the fact that, BoL as a LS had trust/faith in WHAT YOU SAID, and WHAT YOU WOULD LIVE UP TO IN TERMS. If you had RL issues, be responsible and hand the Tunic back until you handle your shit. BoL entrusted you with the tunic to support the LS in events and activities, it was never PROMISED to you for you to keep, wow you think a 15mil+ item is that easily obtained in under a month?
So anyways.. Busta pops in the LS..(after I examine and /tell him) I spend about a good hr /telling Busta nicely, sincerely, and logically about the issue with the tunic (Which obviously he wouldn't post screenshots of my massive /tell bombs to him), only to get 1 reply. So for that whole hour, Bustaballs ignores me in /tells and within the LS, by this time I had already considered the tunic stolen, because Busta was not AFK (knowing this because he unequips the LS, and his conversation with Shinryuken). I mean why the hell would you talk to Shinryuken, and not me? I'm the nigga that makes the decisions, and I was trying to do it rationally. Understand at this point, I felt provoked and honestly I already thought the tunic was lost, just like the other past 6+whms who have left with one,
**But you all know what? i'm man enough to keep that shit within the LS responsibly, not leak it to the qcdn noobs who have never experienced a lick of end-game status or dramas of it from a leaders point of view. To all the qcdn noobs >> Your all a bunch of flakes, lets not have anymore comments from the peanut gallery, holla at me when you all get on my level. We piss away tunics like water thats why I don't bother making flames on qcdn about every single time BoL has been fucked over by WHMs, so to me the tunic was lost already, but if we can salvage one, and hand it off to a worthy WHM, or sell it to buy deserving members, gear then why not**

I think for the most part it's common sense that when you're given items you're expected to stick around to help those that assisted you in getting said items.
On the other hand upon handing it back, the 2 months you did work should bridge over towards working to get it back. I'd have to assume there was some reason for kicking you as the facts presented are more strange than anything. But for the most part... really nobody's business. They could have kicked you from the LS after 2 months instead of giving you Noble's, you put the same work in either way and got the same reward, but both reasons probably have some reason that's nobody's concern except BoL members which doesxn't include me, so I don't really care.

And a note to somone else, yes, it's a group effort, and yes, End Game takes a lot of time, however, people are living breathing beings with feelings and shit. Flip that coin over kids, you should be cheering on Busta in his life changes, he came back, after having a child, and the first hing his "Friends" do is use deceptive means to get something back that he earned.

Like Firestreak said, God LSes will speed up distribution of an item such as shining cloth for nobles because of a short list, to enhance the gil in the LS bank, etc. and the reason you got your nobles in 2 months was because the LS was doing trying to enhance the gil in the bank so we could sell extra Shining Cloth drops ASAP.

Endgame shells look better every day. I can only wonder why I'm even giving the idea of an endgame LS a second thought. So this is what people leave their friends in their social LS for when they hit 75? This garbage is what everyone races towards? The "level-grind" to 75 which is supposed to be not fun at all is rewarded with the "fun" of stuff like this? I'm glad I've been making the most fun I can of the trip to 75, because it doesn't look like there's a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
