I made constant posts about my activity and what's going on in my life, etc,etc...

I just did a search on your name on our forums. Your last post was on December 15th regarding the MPK patch and before that you posted on December 5th regarding your activity and saying you could still make Sundays (your off day which you havent held up too) and late nights (which I havent seen either).

When ESP was around we seemed to have the same problem with WHMs, luckily our main base of awesome WHMs still showed up.

I think its cuz WHM's don't like their job in end game and get bored easily, I don't blame em... but if your one of these people we don't want you.

ok I dont want you either.. give me back my nobles

Busta deserves his Noble's. He put in his time to earn it. Regardless of what happens after that, it's HIS Noble's, unless it was CLEARLY stated otherwise. If he planned to quit, I doubt he would have wanted it in the first place. Are some of you too ignorant to see that he had family things going on? Regardless of if it was announced or not, what happened, happened. I know personally, that family things come up unexpectedly sometimes. Although this might not have been unexpected, real life should always come before the game.

Some of you take this game way too seriously. So just think, next time you have a family emergency or something, how would you like it if something like this happened to you? You can't control every aspect of your life, thoughs who think you can are being extremely close minded. Lighten up and give Busta back his Noble's. Although it won't justify things said and done during this, it would be the right thing to do.

heh.. that's really pathetic.
you're a whm, find a new one. WhM are always in demand. I figure it as I'm a Red Mage, soon to be Bard.. remember.. that peal you own? doesnt own you.
RL stuff > endgame.
I was looking into BoL cause I know a good deal of the members.. but after this? I'm rather disgusted.. if they treated me like that I'd laugh in their face and keep the nobles. The item was not a "Linkshell Property Loan" it was for you. That's BS.. and anyone who justifies it, is full of such.

You shouldve like desynthed right in front of him. That wouldve been better.

when some of these people have a newborn child, they will understand why ffxi is the last thing on their mind.

You don't seem to understand how things work in our LS...

We sell drops in sky and use the money to buy equipment for dedicated members according to things they have said they wanted. This is to keep money out of peoples hands for levelling secondary jobs and crafts and gear on their main jobs the linkshell uses for events to better our performance and efficiency as a group.

Bustaballs Nobles will buy a dedicated member an item they deserve and will use for us. His Nobles was never earned unless you think everyone in an end game LS deserves 10-15mil gil every 6 weeks as a payment for their time and then they can just forget about ever needing to be on again. Players only get an item on their "Wish List" every 4 months or so if their one of our most dedicated and consistent people and thats just based on how much money the linkshell is bringing in.

As soon as we are able to give out 10-15mil gifts every month to every player regardless of their activity or consistency then I will agree with you. But when you join an end game LS you sign a verbal agreement that you will be a consistently active member, everyone touts that on their applications to join the LS... "extremely active" "consistent member" etc etc... so why lie if you are only gonna follow those claims until you get your armour. Just come out and say "will be active until I get what I want." It will make the recruitment process a lot easier for us.

Having a Baby isn't an excuse to me... as far as I know babies are known about for 8-9 months and if you know your gonna have to change your life after its born you wouldn't be in a rush to join an end game LS and ask about "when am I gonna get Nobles" on a weekly basis... seem's odd to me.

ehh.. I've been around for awhile, BoL in my opinion from reading these fourms and being in game have a horrible rep. I wouldn't of joined them to begin with. They seem shady and untrustworthy. I don't know how the shell is now since it's been reformed or whatever. It seems like they have a weak case against you anyways especially after reading what happened in the LS chat.

Dealing with big time items with hard monsters etc, it's best to have a type of contract or creed of the shell so to speak. For example, my dynamis and sky shell have a full list of the requirments, lotting, drops, times etc. Everyone knows what is expected from just logging onto our shell's site. I guess I am lucky to be in a sky shell full of people I've been playing with for two years now who I trust and they trust me. One of our white mage's lended me her noble's tunic for awhile, still waiting to get mine. Still have to finish my ZM's, but I have been in no rush since I've heard mostly crap from sky. The reason I have no rush to get there is because of hearing shit like this. End game is nice, it opens a lot of oppertunities to people to be a part of something not everyone can do, work together, etc. It's not excuse however for you to be an asshole.

Give back the tunic.

I think he is right though. I mean busta shouldve probably just killed off the baby. Thats the going rate on nobles these days i hear. Death of your firstborn.

I am glad Decidence posted this. It's basically why one should really take into a lot've consideration when and if they decide to join an end-game shell. *Especially if you are a WHM.*

I will reiterate for everyone and anyone on this subject. There is no where in the White Mage job description that states that you are anyone and everyone's slave. BDSM should be saved for the bedroom, not for end game. Noble's tunic should not be a slave collar! Your gear is not worth letting your relationship suffer (especially your children), or your grades. The very idea that you should place a linkshell before your family is absolutely insane.

If White Mages were considered Mercenary positions I am most certain that within two months you would've had comfortably been able to afford to have bought a noble's tunic. Cloths have always dropped fairly steadily. The high price tag in my opinion is partial to the fact that end-game shells are in dire desperation for white mages who will commit to them. Where as the cloths continue to drop, the burn out rate of white mages is by far higher.

Busta, when these cloths are sold and placed into the bank are you given a percentage of the drop? Or are you intended to volunteer your time? I've always said thank yous go a long way, and sometimes more so than monitary gain. If you were not getting either than you should feel a bit used more so than robbed. (You gave the tunic back. Why? I don't know. Only you can answer to that.) Seems we need to have some clarity on what is considered loaned and what is considered yours, as well as what is considered earned and what is considered to be not-so-earned.

End-game became too hardcore for me, but it does work for some.

Before I was recruited I put on my application that I didnt know how much time I would have after the baby was born. I've been having major relationship problems along with moving back and forth between houses and internet going out every few minutes. This happened after I got my nobles.. about a week after is when it got bad. How could I do this on purpose though? Why would I work over 2 months, get a "borrowed" tunic, and quit playing? Doesn't make since does it? Think about things before you post.

The only thing I was able to do was ruin your rep a little more but oh well.

No... everything is sold and put into bank and people who are most active in the LS get to buy things with the money. I got some AF2 in dynamis and a reverend mail but that's it. No gil ever. Just a waste of time and lots of being bitched at.

No it doesnt make sense Busta, but you are one of 4-5 WHM's that have done it to us so far like I posted. Im assuming thats the reason that WYS and the other leaders are at odd's with WHM's and getting Tunics so quickly and why it has been stopped.

I will not bow down to WHM's, I really could care less if our LS had 0 of them if they were all going to go inactive after getting their Nobles. If you would of posted more frequently about your situation then once every 6 weeks then Im sure this wouldn't of happened Busta =/

Wow, this has to be one of the most ignorant things I've ever heard. For a first-time parent, it's hard to know what to expect. Personally, I don't know what the situation was with Busta's home life. Granted it's assumed that you're going to be busy, maybe he assumed he'd have a little break time. But maybe he decided that he could better spend the time instead of playing FF.

Wait till you have kids someday, Decidence. Or do you have pets? A dog? If you have a dog, don't go AFK to let it outside or to feed it, you might miss something in the LS chat. Multiply that feeling by a billion, then you might have a slight clue of the responsibilities of a parent. I doubt the LS would be the first thing on your mind.

Busta, I'm sorry this had to happen to you. I really wish I could do more to help you. You've got people behind you, so don't let ignorance get you down. I don't have any children myself(way too young..) but I've delt with my own personal problems, and FF is last on the list and that's where it will stay. I hope things turn out for the best.

And in comes Sandria, logic 4tw!

Lyrai Ive taken breaks from FFXI. When I feel I can't be commited, I let it be known, and I kept the situation updated and still visited the forums daily to keep up on things.

The process of going online to visit the forums, make a reply or two, or even a new thread giving your status takes about 15mins. So give me a break if you can't fit that into your day.
