So let me get this right.

If i join your ls then after a few months of helping and not being helped i get lung surgery. Is that a "good" excuse? or do i need to get online before hand and let you know?

do you see how retarded you are right now

Did you know you were having Lung Surgery for 8 months previous? We don't kick people a week, two weeks, even three weeks after not showing up... but we expect some news of where you are and regular updates on your situation. We were not given that.

This thread is already out of hand. The topic at hand is not the baby, yes we all know baby's take time!!

The topic is about people leaving a ls for any reason at all, and expecting to keep the items they obtained while they were active. Items are given to people based on future activity. The prior activity(2 months of being at everything) only shows he can be at events. To truly call the item yours, you need to be dedicated, be on time, and show up to LS events. I dont know about your ls's, but to pull 16M items is tough, this is an entire outing for 1 item. Lets divide 16M by the average number of people that show up to a sky event, how about a round number 30. If you divided his share by the number of people it would be roughtly 500k. So at 2 outings a week to sky, it would take roughly 16 weeks, or 4 months before he truly could call this item his. That is saying he did not miss a single sky event.

conclusion
This item was not his to begin with, he would of never earned 16M on even split drops. This is an ls item, it belongs to the LS!!

So sorry, survey says wrong. Time and time again it's been proven that the only requirements something has to meet to be yours is that it be in your inventory. It's not like he left the link anyway, just took a break for understandable reasons.

Well .. understandable to people with basic human understanding of priority.

Afaik there are more places then your house to get an internet connection for free... mainly public library's etc... pop in on your way home from work and make a quick forum post.

This isn't 100% BoL's fault, so stop pretending it is.

Seriously busta, why didn't you put the link's need for information about you in front of your duties? jesus christ you insensitive prick

Ok that was just a "If it were me" thing. you can't really predict the birth He helped you and you screwed him. Are you happy?

He was there for 2 months and did't get any help and he didn't mind that but when you take something away cause he had a kid thats just mega jackassary.

And what about you leaving the game? you were inactive so why do you get to keep your items?

lol your rediculous... you think LS's are just supposed to give out items and stand idly by while people leave and never care where they went or if they will be back... this is exactly why end game LS's don't advance in this server as quickly as other more hard core servers and JP LS's.

Except once he clicked "Okay" on the trade box.. it was his. Not the LS's.

Because it's so impossible to find 15 minutes and a computer with internet access at the same time to post on a web forum (i'm sure BoL must have one or even on here would do) and explain the situation. *eye roll*

#1: I have no transportation other than my own two feet.

#2: The mother is very sick and I'm pretty much taking care of the baby by myself.

#3: I signed a form from DHS (Department of Human Services) saying that I wouldn't leave her alone with the baby.

I'm ridiculous? You think LS's should automatically assume everyone's out to take advantage, knowing full goddamn well the guy was expecting a kid? Your LS politics are exactly why most endgame LSs don't advance in this server as quickly as other more hard core servers and JP LS's. Comradary (sp?) fuels a LS not petty bullshit about who's there for what and when they get it.

what if his wife went into early labor? or needed a C section? Should he go "GOD DAMN IT <Enter wifes name here> i am playing a game. stop your bitching"

ok I'd like my share of 2 months worth of work please or MY nobles back thanks

or "drive yourself to the hospital, i got a sky event today"

Personally I do not favor LS loot. Players put in their time, they get gear for a job well done, not for a job that will be well done.

However, if one joins a LS, then one implicitly agrees to the LS rules. If the rules state that the tunic belongs to the LS, then that is what it is.

or "Bitch please. do you know what real pain is? i have to cure all these people during gods and keep them alive. a baby is nothing."

That says it all.. or would this simple event make LS look unworthy of trust? at least give him his dues.

HNM Shells earn elite gear for their members to make the Shell stronger.

If you know you're about to stop contributing to the shell (for whatever reason, and real life certainly needs attention) then do the honourable thing and DON'T ACCEPT OR BID.

A lot of HNM Shells on Quetz have really struggled to go forward, because as soon as their members get gear, they're never seen again. BoL clearly state what's expected of their members on their recruitment thread. If you can't handle what they need (and HNM Shells are really not for everyone) then don't join.

(PS... and I really can't believe that I am agreeing with BoL or Decidence... I guess there's a first time for everything...)

I do agree with you to a degree. Honestly, I do. I have found this concept to work wonderfully in certain other MMOs that I have played in. Guilds that established banks for the good of the guild. Farmed and obtained raw goods in stock piles so that in the event that you went out into combat and lost everything that you had the guild could quickly put you back on your feet. In that guild the biggest and most important rule was if a member calls for help and you are in range to help them you drop what your doing and go to their aid. Problem is, the mechanics in this game are slightly different. (Slightly might be an understatement.) I also believe the game I mentioned had American developers where as this game is highly Japense oritented.

That does not mean that I don't feel the concept could not work in this game. In all honestly, it could. The problem that I see in a large majority of the end-game shells is not so much that members leave upon attain their gear it is by the time they attain their gear they have already decided that they do not enjoy the "end-game experience" and want to get something for the time that they have put in. There is a fine line between greed and simply being able to enjoy playing a video game. It's like the pot calling the kettle black, or whatever that cliche saying is. Example: If you go to work and only get paid for four days rather than the five you put in you are most likely going to bring this to the attention of your boss. If your boss tells you "You can either acecpt the four days you were paid for or quit..." What are you going to do? Some might be quick to say.... "I'm going to quit!" Eh? You have a wife or a husband at home and three kids. The four days paid means the rent is paid. (Your boss isn't stupid, he knows you have a house note to pay and kids to feed and that you honestly need his shitty job.) Doesn't mean that you might not be looking through the newspaper for a new job.

If you say... "Don't compare this game to real life!" I applaud you.

You've got no chance in hell, busta, unfortunately.

Shoulda never traded it back. Of course i can't blame you in assuming watch was a standup guy who wasen't going to bend you over for no apperant reason.

You got it with no lube for next to no reason, that's complete bullshit.

Wouldn't be so bad had they not duped the hell out of you and deci wasen't being a complete jerk-off about it.

Yo why don't you QCDN trolling losers with your social LS's that daddle on forums and in game all day chatting it up with your virtual friends that "care" about you just shove it. I don't give a shit about your real life. - Decidence

You have just been Owned by someone who I'm positive must be a virgin to say sometihng like this 0_0.

Let me rephrase what he said for you- Yo all you people in your social LS are losers because you cant kill really big shit in a almost completely worthless videogame, furthermore I am a very cool person because I can kill really big shit in a videogame.

Decidence I think its time for a reality check.
