All I see is a lack of understanding that its possible that a player might have more important things in life than a video game. While it is possible for some people not to have to work to earn a living and play the game 24/7 to be able to attend events and "further" their linkshell's riches, there's a good majority of people that can't do that.
It makes sense that if you helped a player obtain a really expensive item, that you would expect them to hang around the game and perhaps help you in turn, and obviously if they disappeared you wouldn't have the greatest feelings toward them thinking that you were used... however I see that an explanation was given, one that I would think would be valid (if you had a kid, surely the kid's importance > video game's importance)... so I just don't understand the lack of compassion, or the ability to "forgive" I guess you could say.

This whole argument of Real Life being more important than video game life. It's true but it has no relevance. It's a fucking distraction. If the video game isn't important, therefore the item isn't important.
The point being, people who don't have time to do the things that actually ARE IMPORTANT TO THEM(in a video game, OMG!) simply vent frusteration at the people with more time than them. It's a linkshell, not a crutch, move on, nothing more to see here. No soup for you.

Had you been reading you'd not i've posted that this thread should've been dead for quite some time on numerous occasions even though it benefits me personally for the thread to continue there is no arguement, WYS and Busta settled this half a thread ago. All you people come in here saying that RL>ffxi, thats fine take your RL>ffxi but there are people that don't do that. the only thing that comes RL>ffxi in my case is work and that's it.
