This is how NM camping works. These are all variables you need to be accustomed to. Especially the Leech King, it pops a lot. A lot more than Argus from my experience.
Here is another way to get the TOD. People go down there and sit AFK to get a TOD. The Conquest Tally really helps a lot.
Went out with friends for a few hours and came back to this. Looks like I /sea whored at just the right time? eh?
These are the kinds of variables you'll always have to deal with.
I'm really sorry that people do this to each other, especially with a NM with such a broad spawn time. I'm sorry because you always need to expect competition on these - and it seems you were fairly unprepared for the said competition.
I came down there because I knew Dracoden had killed it the day before. I didn't know what time he killed it at but I had a rough idea. You really think people waste their entire day sitting infront of a screen, on the assumption it will pop because the zone is packed? Give me a break.
This is the most positive variable I have ever experienced in FF11.
Draco and I teamed up. Instead of competing.....we drove everyone out of the maze. Only missing ONE spawn in a weeks time. Now that's teamwork.
Argus popped again the next day, I claimed and gave the amulet to Draco.
The next day LK popped. No drop.
LK again the next day. No drop.
LK again the next day...No drop.
LK...yet again the next day. Finally got an earring.
Missed pop the next day, assumed Argus popped.
The next day Draco kept his word, claimed Argus and gave me the amulet.
Persistance is key, you gave up it seems. I was ready to give up after assuming we missed Argus...But the next day our persistance totally paid off.
Goodluck in the future.
