Usually when 2 or more LS camping the same mob and one of the other claim it, you have to respect their claiming rights, only claim it when last person in that LS is dead, and you can spam voke, but spamming voke while someone is still killing it and no chance of wiping, that is just plain wrong

Your shell wiped at MG. Not the same at all as stealing from an LS that would have no problem killing the NM.

If you were around and would not have spammed voked then I have some respect for that. But being a part of or defending a LS that would do so then that shows little class.

I am sorry that your name got mentioned seeing that it wasnt you that decided to try to get a voke in when the mob was clearly being handled with no difficulties.

Be interesting if the real PLD would fess up. If he felt what he did was on the up and up he shouldnt have any issues in doing so.

I would suggest that that you guys be more careful about swapping pets and making sure the target stays red.

As for making this an LS issue or a moral issue, I don't think its really a wise idea. You're opening a can of worms and inviting mud to be slung at your LS too.

Like we said we had many pets on despot, there should not have been a reason why it went white. I don't even know if someone did a pet swap, I was kinda grasping at straws to come up with some sort of explaination as to why they could get a voke in.

As far as our shell is concerned I feel good about it. I do not believe there is anything of this nature that has ever taken place. We have got claims from when a group has lost control and wiped, and the same has happened to us. We have never bitched when we have lost control and someone else took it down.

In our defense of us trying to show respect for other shells. There was once a LS that lost control and called for help on Kirin. When the members had finally all logged or wiped Kirin went white. A couple of our members had already died from Kirin when she running around while orange. When she went white we did take claim, which she was at 95%. There was no way they could have re-grouped with most of their members dead, weakend, or logging back in to get a handle on things. We had to take claim or many more of our members would have died. We killed Kirin and gave them the drops. So I feel good for the way we have handled ourselves.

my ls theflock camped despot before kirin yesterday against rmt and serene eternity ls.

anyway we got claim of despot, then we start to kill... obviously serene eternity's pld there was spammig voke.... anyway we HAD pets on it hitting it and for some way they claimed it with voke i have no idea how we even lost claim.... since the way bst fights monsters, i guess it can be shit sometimes

mob mustve been unclaimed for like .0000001sec i guess.

anyway that was a pretty shitty ass thing to do. i mean if we were RMT.... sure go for it, steal our mob... but they knew we weren't....

anyway i'll get to the main flame...

so we're furious and tell these guys to plz give us our gem back... never get an answer....

i finally talk to ariesol and helstorm, the leader or if ths what u wanna call em, and they bsically are just telling me we ' we dont care' ' thats yalls fault, not ours' and alot more bullshit......

anyway i talk to alastor, klank, and tenchi who were among like the 5 ppl from serene eternity. they all wanted to give the gem back to us. they didnt agree with what went down but ya those guys wanted to give it back...

anyway these guys tried to tell ariesol and hellstorm, their "leaders," that they should give it back... and this is a quote ariesol and hellstorm said to their ls members when the members wanted to give the gem back according to alastor .... "stfu' seriously these guys show no class whatsoever and steal our despot even though we were no where close to dying and we we STILL had pets on it for gods sake.

then these two, ariesol and hellstorm, show their true greedy ass selves and deny the request of their ls members and tell them to 'sfup, we keeping this gem '

i just think this is completely classless ... i mean shit how greedy can some people be on this game... and as far as im concerned and im sorry to klank, alastor, tenchi, and nigosh when i say this... but..

serene eternity is a joke sky ls who has some of the worst leaders ive ever. i mean stealing is one thing which i dont agree with but when the rest of ur shell wants to give somthing back that you stole and u tell them to stfu.... i mean geez. shit and ya know whats funny, i got despot stolen from me by a rmt ls in sky once and of course i was livi, so they GAVE me my gem back lawl. i asked em why they gave it back, they said ' u didn't die, we sorry claim' ' but if u die, we can keep'.. so i guess RMT shows more values and class then serene eternity, an unless i see that gem in theflocks hands, i'll always feel this way about them.

anyway basically if u see ariesol or hellstorm... well i hope you think back to this and not want to have anything to do with them.

Since went did RMT start giving stuff back i'm pretty sure i've never seen this in the many years i've played this game see an RMT give something back.

i havent played in a while...but i know the guys in theflock and i know hellstorm pretty well...so i'm not guna diss either of em...but i thought the common rule was if the mob is yellow its a free for all >_>...in my oppinion thats fair play on their part...if thats what happend and they didnt just use a cheap ass way to steal the claim...i dunno...shit like this happens and will always happen to everyone...anyway i just dont see it as a big deal if the thing is only a 2-3hour loto respawn(isnt that right...? my memory might be wrong...)...but thats just my oppinion...

Well I doubt this will ever get cleared up but shit happens stuff like this goes on all the time in the game. Would u be complaining on here if an RMT got the deposit over u probably not?

First of all by posting I no way speak for the leadership or all members of SE. I was also there in sky when this happened. Nycon as he said was fighting a different mob all together when this happened so in no way was he the Paladin who provoked.

As for how it happened. I don't think any member of the flock did anything to make the mob become unclaimed or anything wrong in any sort. The mob was theirs claimed from the start fair and square.

The paladin who did provoke was acting on his own and had not been ordered to do so as far as I know anyways. Which doesn't make it right I understand. After all was said and done, despot was dead and some of the flock were very upset and asking questions to our leaders if they were going to give it back etc. I don't blame anyone for being upset about that. I would be too. I also think that the leadership should have talked to the members of the flock instead of pretending nothing was being said.

The decision was made and the stone kept. This created a large debate as you said not all of SE agreed that the stone should have been kept and many very angry that it has. As for the leadership, yes the usual leaders were not in sky that day and I believe if they had been some of this could and would have been avoided. I'd personally like to say I'm sorry. The entire situtation was out of control and all around sucked.

Its hard to pick who was right and who was wrong also.

When someone is fighting a monster, and doesn't seem to be wiping and you're sitting there spam voking with the intentions to "claim" the mob while its being fought, i'd call that wrong. That, is whats called stealing because the party that is currently fighting the NM, can actually kill it and is in the process of doing so.

There are no "rules", but there is a little thing called game ethics and from the information presented, if TheFlock was doing fine, then there's no reason to be spam voking. I understand that if a LS starts to wipe, other linkshells will spam voke and what not in order to be the first to get claim once the NM changes to "unclaimed status", but that wasn't the case.

Yet another issue with SE's annoying programming. -_-

Monster go yellow for a split-second without any reason whatsoever while you're fighting them. SE claims this is intentional, but I think it's a glitch and they're too lazy/stupid to fix it. I've had aspid stolen while we had several people meleeing it, casting spells and had DoT spells in place; there's really nothing you can do to stop it, it just happens. With the claim update however, unless it's near the start of the fight that usually doesn't happen anymore, since they'd have to beat out your hate value to get the claim; but with a BST the hate amount would probably be significantly lower, so the cure 4 + invincible would likely work.
