this isnt my fight and im guna go now...e1 in this thread seems to be a bunch of assholes that only know how to run their mouths off about what they dont even know first hand about...its just turned into a full out free for all flame fest >_>; anyway...cya e1, ill come back to see who won the epeen war~
There have been statements from both sides that the mob was claimed by TheFlock and they were not in any situation remotely resembling a wipe, and then SereneEternity somehow got claim mid-fight, finished off the mob and got the stone. The leaders at the time refused to give the stone to the group that originally claimed it, said group rather naturally had a few people get pissed about that, and this flame also resulted.
If I'm wrong on any factual details of the above, please correct me.
As for the rest of the topic (this is more my opinion), it's been mostly people agreeing that it was stealing and was consequently slimy and underhanded, compounded by not returning the stone. With a few people making rather sad and unconvincing attempts to say that it wasn't stealing and it was totally legit, or that this is making a big deal out of nothing. The latter tend to get shot down by the former rather quickly (though in some cases it seems to take them a while to realize they've actually lost the argument, and go right on arguing anyway).
Now, if it were some discussion of whether TheFlock had been wiping or not, or if SereneEternity were saying that they were fighting over initial claim or something, or if the stone had supposedly been returned but actually hadn't or something, or really *anything* factual where the two sides actually disagreed ... then yes, it would be valid to bring up the "you weren't there and you can't talk about what happened".
But as it is, both sides are pretty much agreeing on the facts, and as for interpretation of facts, and ethics, and so on, that's fair game for anyone whether they were there or not.
