the point is they didnt return the gem after they "accidentally" claimed it. that makes it not a accident and makes it intentional in most peoples eyes.

So, Flock got their stone back?

We got some people saying Goldenboy stole on accident, some saying it was a legit take over of the mob, and some saying it was a flat out steal...all from SE.

Just goes to show the type of scum that resides in that LS.

If someone in my LS was to steal a mob that leadership had not agreed to, he would be out of my LS.

I doubt the scum over there has the balls to do so. At least some of their members had the balls to dicth a shitty LS.
 
The whole "lying for sympathy" argument might've worked better if SereneEternity's own members didn't vouch for TheFlock's story. :P

And as for the ethics question, which is worse:

- Stealing an NM and not giving its drop to the rightful claimers
- Bringing the above event to public knowledge and subject to public criticism

Now maybe in weird-ethics-land, wanting other people to know about untrustworthy thieving people is a horrible thing to do and we should all keep very quiet about bad things so that people don't think of us as tattletales. And stealing itself, eh, it's not so bad, "it's only a game".

In the real world, it's kinda sorta the opposite. :P

Friends of mine are upset, too. But hopefully, something can be worked out that is agreeable to both sides.

Even if they are good players most of the time it is not ok for them to do what they did and we should have no reason to feel bad about calling them out because believe it or not there are good things coming out of it. LS's are questioning their actions et cetera.

We have talked to each other over Vent and are reaching a compromise which would have never happened if this type of pressure wasn't applied.

Yeah, I like everyone from theFlock, and I have lots of friends in SE. So Hopefully they get it worked out.

First off, if this is true.. Where GB did voke on accident which is highly unlikely. They should give the stone back w/ no questions asked. FYI if this is the case then the blms who stunned it, and GB who obviously spam voked it, should give formal appologies as well...

Theflock has every right to flame anyone they wish, they were wronged. No one should feel sorry for SE stealing the Stone.

That is like saying "The Burglar is in the right when he sued the homeowner, because the burglar broke his back on the homeowner's kitchen table."

Until this issue is resolved the entire linkshell "Serene Eternity" should be at fault, simply because the entire linkshell gets the benefit from that stone... And if they didnt feel its justified that the stone wasnt given back... They could drop their pearl. LIKE klank has already done

That's not in the wrong, that's an incongruity in their story, one that's easily explained by he said something before he d/c'd or after he came back.. I wasn't there so I have no idea what happened, but you're acting like they're claiming the impossible here.

TheFlock was wronged, and brought a linkshell's unsavory actions to public light. There's nothing wrong with that, nor is the public outcry against SE for doing such a thing wrong. They are justifiably mad about what happened, but you're acting like they're making the whole thing up just for kicks. The flock's done nothing wrong from what I've seen, stop with the friend defense already. The flock has nothing to concede other than stopping the flame, which would happen when SE returns the stone they should have returned in the first place.

The Flock cannot do anything to "improve the situation," they were the ones who got fucked over, so they are the ones who shouldn't have to give anything up. SE is the one completely in the wrong. If they were such good players, they wouldn't have stolen in the first place, let alone they would have returned the stone.

Either they return the Gem or not. Irregardless, the Flameboard was made for this. Consider it the real 'Neighborhood Watch.' lolReeve.

Who 'spam vokes' for fun? I dunno about you, but I don't go up to exp parties and set there finger fucking my enter key all in the name of fun. Goldenboy is an ok guy, I've had my share of run in's with him. Still... fact remains, and you don't do that shit in sky.

i talked to ariesol alot last night and he was so rude and did not want to settle the issue at all bud.

he called me "immature" and a "drama queen" for wanting the gem back and said "the game isnt fair, sorry"


the point is,, ariesol is in the wrong... and if im an asshole because i got pissed off because we got royally screwed by a bunch of greedy thfs... then ya know what.. im an asshole


but like i said bro, ur friend ariesol aand hellstorm were the worst... they WERE there and i talked to them bot at the time

Listen, I'm not defending SE. I know how they can be from stories I've heard. I'm the only sone on my Social LS this is isn't associated w/ em.

I'm concerned about the flaming w/ my two friends. that's it.
GB has told us all, he wanted to give the Gem back, but who ever had the gem wouldn't.

It's now in the hands of the Leaders of SE, which we all know. I just want the flaming of two good friends to end. I want theFlock to have their Gem back. That's it, I know that's not what it sounded like in my last post but, that's what I'm getting at. I'm tired of hearing about this in XP parties, I;m tired of talking about it in my Social.

This is the last I have to say.

1) I 100% guarantee the flames will stop on SE, goldenboy, and Ariesol when Serene eternity gets the stone back to theflock. Im sure Honcho will ask Mods to lock it when this happens.

I've known Arie and GB since I was in AG with them. And the fact is, they fucked up. They don't seem to want to apologize, and if they don't...where are you going to stand?

Stay friends with thieves, or tell them you don't hang out with their kind. If they don't return the stone and apologize they might as well never come around me (not like I actually hang out with them, but I have partied within the last few months with Arie).

It's as simple as that, I'm not the kind to hang around with people who fuck up and act like they are saints. If I hang out with people of ill repute, I know full well what they have done and take resposibility for my own action of hanging around them.

PS: WTF does the flock have to apologize for?

I don't think Honcho is inclined to apologize for creating the flame, and in general everyone else from TheFlock that has posted in this thread has, I feel, been pretty civil about it all things considered. Why do you feel like TheFlock should apologize, and for what behavior? Flaming your friends, who were involved in the act?

1) Hey if they decide to do the right thing or express their dissapointment with what happened there is no reason why people should not feel animosity towards them for their actions.
2) Yes.
3) I really think if people had problems with verbal disputes they should just apologize to one another, no one needs to handle those for them but themselves.
4) Currently I do not see a reason to apologize for what has happened, the best that can come from this now is the issue gets resolved (which is in the workings) and the thread gets locked/is over. If people had some misperceptions about who in the linkshell was at fault I think that has been cleared and if not sure individuals should apologize to each other but LS's do not need to babysit their members in that respect.

Exactly, it sucks that your friends did a bad thing Selph, but that's no reason to call out those who were wronged and demand that people stop saying bad things about them. People aren't going to forget your friends did a bad thing just because you don't want to hear about how they fucked up.
