So what the hell is up with this joker? He brings shame to all of our men and women in uniform who, even though they are leaving behind spouses, children, family, and friends still go out and perform their duty. I say dishonorably discharge this fuck tard and take w/e benefits he would have gotten after he was done with his contract.

Unless you are serving or have served in a military service, although you have the right, i don't think it is your place to say that he brings shame upon the others in uniform. Beyond that issue that i have with your statement this problem is extremely simple to fix. There are several different problems that people have with his BC and all of them can be solved with a simple examination which to my understanding is all he is asking for. They posted a digital copy online which several people have made issues with inconsistencies. Also the newspaper acknowledgement is interesting but not a proof of citizenship. All is solved by letting a public examination of the document occur but to my understanding only one person has actually been allowed to physically examine it.

I honestly believe that he was born in hawaii and think the birther thing is largely a technicality because at this point he is the pres and he would likely be out of office before anything is ever proved in that regard. Its posturing at this point on both sides. An interesting thing that i have never seen anyone comment on that can be proven is that he lived from ages 6-10 in indonesia. In order to attend school there which he did he would have to be an indonesian citizen which would mean that he would have had to expatriated and to this point there has been no record of him repatriating so technically he may still be an indonesian citizen. But that is just a minor paperwork detail which most likely would not disqualify him from office.

So Hexx... get off your high horse and realize that just because someone has a different POV than you doesn't mean that you can demand their head on a stick. Legally as a soldier he is required to disobey an order he believes is unlawful and whether he is right or wrong... if he legitimately believes that is the case he has not violated his oath of duty and a legitimacy court case should make a definitive ruling on the matter. If a discharge is necessary which in all honesty it probably is an "other than honorable" should be used because in my understanding that is the norm for disobeying a lawful order... not honorable or dishonorable.

I think we're all pretty f**cking sick of the middle east, as a soldier I can see where he's coming from. His argument is pretty awful but it'll all sort itself out. a dishonorable discharge is pretty serious stuff and the implications of such are haunting for a lifetime. In the states you treat soldiers like shit, endless deployments to godforsaken shitholes, extension of tour without consideration or notification. the guy could be stuck out there for 3 years with a bunch of tired bitter soldiers and smelly afghans that rape little kids (reference man-love thursdays).. He just wants to finish off his contract in peace and get out.

How about YOU get off your own high horse. Proof has been provided, this guy is just another rabble rouser trying to find an easy way outta the army, pretty much every person that I know that is military sees it that way. Yes everyone is entitled to their point of view, but when you're trying to get some sort of special treatment and begin to derelict your duty to the country you swore to protect, it's no longer just "your point of view."

This man signed a contract, and swore to uphold it as a member of the armed forces regardless of his beliefs or prejudices, which means that regardless of what he thinks of the president, he needs to get his sorry ass out there and serve like the rest of the soldiers that are enlisted. A lot of military aren't very fond of Obama, but guess what, they're still out there risking their lives, not making bitch excuses and trying to find ways out of their contracts.

The birther nonsense is only based on inconsistencies if you're already convinced Obama has no right to be president. For most people, the birth certificate issue is settled. This guy is an idiot who should stop listening to Joseph Farah.

Nah, this is bullshit Halifirien and you know it. This conspiracy... you know, to put a Non-American on the throne, has been in the works by them damn Libs since 1959...
