I honestly don't agree wih Jamal here. He's the veteran here, but that doesn't make him anymore right then me. I've been to my share of day 8 KBs, Aspids, and Nids, and honestly if there were another 10-15 people there i probably wouldn't even notice. I just plop down in a corner and spam during the window and talk the rest of the time. If it were a low level that i noticed log in and out periodically, then i would probably care about the extra people. Otherwise i can't see it being a problem.

Ironically, I know and have spoken with this player(if i had read this i would post the convo we just had), he is not a bot. We were ccing each other for farming in pashow a few hours before it happened, i mistook one of his friends for rmt and he clarified. I made apologies and we talked as we camped, decent guy, new to the game and concepts. He left an hour later to help a friend with KA as they needed a voke claim for him and promised him a share of the d. cloth.

He has his own ls and was helping med with claim(which according to him he never got) at the time he didnt know holding was considered 'foul play'.

He was in the pt where the holding took place, i explained that he shared part of the responsibility even if he didnt get claim or not(as he was part of pt), holding is wrong. He did mention that med paid for his acct. as well as his own and lich's as they know each other irl kinda shady there since it could be easily med, but then again med hates me so I most likely doubt it lol.

Saying people don't bot because you talked to them is about as strong as the "I play on Ps2" defense.

I am only repeating what I have assumed and from what I've heard from my friend on Hades. Althought I have been to the Aery but only for a party and that was on my DRG a hell-of-a long time ago. From what I remember of it it wasn't as big as other areas. Unfortunately I do have a disadvantage at posting thought considering I haven't been playing in a long time.

I meant that if it were day 7-8 and there were already 2-3 LS there which would be a lot of people. Although Tristam by himself wouldn't make as much of a difference but as Jamal said, if he told one friend to come then next week they both told a friend and that escalated then it would start them lagging a lot more and might cause a death due to meteor or what ever.

Guess I should of explained a bit more. I think?

There would be 2-3 LSs there if it was like a day 1. If it really was a day 7/8 HNM then there would be alot more shells then just 2-3 which is why this argument is stupid. There would be over 100 people. Yes, in theory if a person brought a friend that brought a friend that brought a friend that brought a friend, etc... then it would be a problem. But honestly, do you know how terribly unrealistic that is? Some LSs can barely get 20 people to come with the promise of points/loot. How many friends do you think you can muster to take pictures. If its that many, you should really start a HNM shell, because with that many people you could outclaim any ammount of bots.

Id be upset too if a shitty shell beat my shell to claim considering my shell has only been successful DUE TO THE FUCKING BOTS we have founded everything on and so adamantly denied this whole time.

Till we were owned by an epic flame a month ago.

Which we all refused to explain ourselves in.

and refused to admit we were a pos shell that botted to get claims, and eventually got us wins, and eventually, recruit more people due to our high claim rate.

I don't doubt that'd be an MBP move, to grab their entire LS, visit a King Camp, and douche around by claiming/wiping repeatedly.

Glad to see I could stir some debate about this, and I'm glad that it stayed (mostly) civil. Bottom line is I wasn't in camps CFHing, Soul Plating, or even snagging random friends to come "hang out" with me. I wanted to see a Behemoth, got lucky and saw the King, was pleased with my endeavour, and split after I died.

I'm a sight seer too Tristam..though I still have LOTS to see. Looking at a pic isn't the same as being there...feeling the rush of fear and the intensity. I don't wanna see a pic of Hawaii...I wanna be there.

The problem isn't when one person goes to Hawaii, it's when they bring their friends. Then Hawaii is filled with people clogging up the beaches that only serious surfers go to.

Also...who gets to say the beaches are for surfing..I may think they're for sunbathing..someone else for rock collecting etc.
