Ok i currently have 3 merits available and I was thinking about getting Assassin's Charge but i wanted some info on it beforehand. Does it make you hit with three times the dmg or swing Three times? Does it stack with any weaponskills? Does it stack with Sneak attack or Trick attack? Any other info anyone has besides answering the questions i have is greatly appreciated. Thx in advance for any replies

It makes triple attaack proc on the next hit.

you use it for WS's to give it 3 more hits! ^^

What they said.

Assassain's Charge forces Triple Attack to proc. As such, it stacks with anything that normal Triple Attack stacks with. If SATA stacks with Triple Attack, it stacks with Ass Charge. And it most definately stacks with SATAWS, and makes some very sexy numbers for Shark Bite.

In short, merit now, enjoy later.

For the record, if you use Assassin's Charge and SA together, you'll just hit SA and have two more hits. It's only really good for WS which should be quite obvious.

okay i got Assassin's Charge yesterday thanks to the info you guys gave me. I aprreciate the help. Just got 1 more question about it. I put it in a macro with my Sneak Attack + dancing Edge to see if i would hit for 8 instead of the 5 hits for my reg dancing edge and it still did i five hit ws. This is the macro i used, maybe i'm doing something wrong idk any help would be great

/ja "Assassin's Charge" <me>
/wait 1
/ja "Sneak Attack" <me>
/wait 1
/ws "Dancing Edge" <t>

Is this right or should i swap Assassin's charge with sneak attack in the macro. or do i just use a macro with sneak attack and just have Assassin's Charge and Dancing Edge or Shark bite. Please help me out i want to get this thing right ; ;

You probably just missed 3 attacks.

It should work. Test it more than a couple times........................

If double attack and triple attack go off during a WS, they're just a normal hit and not modified by the WS. Using it whenever you can will produce better DoT than stacking it with WS, as this way you'll be using it more rather than waiting on WS, and it will increase TP gain slightly. Same goes to SATA, only modifies the first hitl.

Have you never seen a double/triple attack proc on a weapon skill before? The damage difference is huge, and is easily worth using assassin charge for weapon skills. You'll get a very small boost to DoT by having a single double/triple attack as a melee hit, but you're receive a much more significant increase in your damage if you stack it with a weapon skill.

If I could guarantee a double attack on monk weapon skills, I'd never use Asuran Fists again, the boost is that significant.

Remember to Disregard anything this man says from now on.

Clax, it sounded like you would use it to basically gain TP.
A THF will triple on WS naturally at times, and having triple attack merits and gear available, there's literally no need for spending a 10-15 minute ability to guarantee a triple attack just for TP.

When it's up, you'll either have TP to use or you'll have TP to use soon enough. Saving it for WS is best, because stacking it will make a much bigger difference in your WS, versus building TP.

Cool thx guys, I really appreciate the info. I've been using it for the past week or so and I have seen a huge boost to my Dancing Edge and Shark Bite. I don't think using this just to gain tp is wise since i gain tp pretty fast as is but thanks for the comments. Now to work on capping out triple attack and dagger merits.

Sorry for the late post, I guess I was wrong. Thats just what I heard. Guess I'm wrong.

I had it merited 3 times, but it really isn't that good all in all.

I did level 3 feint, 1 AC, and blew the rest on Aura Steal.

Seriously guys forget assassin chage.

It doesnt stack with SA TA or SATA: SA+AC will do a SA followed by 3x atk. same with TA. this is easilly checked so dont say it does stack.

Only stacks with WS; SATA WS is more dmg than AC WS

a SATAC WS will do SATA ws followed by a tripple atk: it will NOT boost your ws dmg.

15 mn recast or 8 min with merit lol.

All this make it useless.

as perigrine said feint is the best of all. I chose ambush cause the one aura steal is so bad too.

see? it doesnt stack with a SA WS either. You most likely had SA WS dmg folloed by 3x
