I can't stand them. I try my hardest to be a good person in the game and sometimes it's a really difficult thing to do. I can handle boobery, noobs, idiots, morons, bad players, bad equipment, slow xp, death, de-leveling...but the one thing I can't handle is assholes.

I had a chance to run into one in Port Jeuno last night, he knows who he is. I mean come on and grow up. I ended up ignoring them because I was completely floored by the immaturity and absolute lack of a good attitude he displayed. You've never pt'd with me or even taken the time to talk to me and you go out of your way to piss me off. I've been in arguments with people on these boards - but whats on the boards stays on the boards. I don't judge anyone by how they react on a flameboard of all fucking places...and I've met some rather rad people in game by abiding by this standard. Assholes on the board, great people in the game.

Grow up and kiss my ass. I havn't met one person whose taken the time to play/chat with me that ended up hating me at the end, I have fun in game and think I play pretty decent.

No Vang is in the category of nice guys in-game believe it or not. I've had a couple of great conversations with him and enjoy his company...definatley not on the boards though :lol:
 
Yea talked to Vang ingame I definetly respect him, hes just is tired of the stupid shit wasting his time, can't say that I blame him, there are reasons I don't lvl much anymore. He is more of "tough love", assholes are the ones who suck and think they are good and/or we care about their /shout conversations.
 
No, assholes are assholes. People who go out of their way to make you feel shitty for no good reason! I have been arguing with this person on the flameboards but he really has never pt'd with me or even talked with me in-game. He has the gaul to walk up to me and Jeuno and practically call me an idiot with his stupid emote.

I've seen people get frustrated and lash out, but usually with a reason. Someone's not playing well, someone's wearing shit gear, macros in shout etc....

This person has never even played with me for murphy's sake! I've never had complaints and have had people re-invite me when they see me lfg per the suggestion of someone I've pt'd with before. "She's a good summoner, invite her". Yeah I know there are people better than I out there, but I'm not that bad and have never had complaints. I'm a very, very, VERY forgiving/tolerant person but between this ass-wipe and these stupid kids that have been emailing me lately (not about the game) I've about had it.

Don't be an asshole. Gripe, complain, whine, swear whatever...as long as you have a reason. Also for the love of god realize that shit said in a flameboard is better left in a flameboard.

But I agree Sabia, no reason to go out of your way to be a jerkoff to someone you've never met.

I too, utterly fail to understand why some people get off on being in-game assholes. Whats the point? in a game that circles almost entirely around player interaction, how do they expect to get anywhere, let alone have a good time doing it? Whatever. /fume .................... *assholes*

I can only assume that these people are mostly very young players, the kind of kids that fire crab apples at cars on the freeway, then run like hell when they hear the tires squeel. This is not true of all younger players. Our server does have a rather high amount of young players whose attitude is a credit to their generation, but this type of immaturity can only stem from age.

I have a hard time believing that an adult could be such an immature asshole. But then again....................... /sigh
 
Not Roofie. I know who it was too. He waved to me last night and I just completely ignored him. When I knew this person, I always thought he was an asshole too. It was either his way, or you're a complete fucking idiot, or something to that extent. I don't think I'm going to reveal his name though...

I have found alot of inmature adults on the internet and in other MMorg games. I used too play The Sims Online and see people act real inmature and start stuff. I used too think they were kids till I found out quite a few of the trouble makers in that game were actually in their 40's.
