Ok, I wasn't in the team that finished it, I don't know who did. Congratulations to those people.
But if you wanna know who got then all down to 33%, it was us.
My first team was assembled by Vermi and I, we started out as a few, but got to the BC as 5. We only dented the Mega Boss. Later that same night, I went with another team. We did some good damage. All in all, 10 hours of work (that's how long I was immersed the first night, Wednesday) got the Mega Boss to around 5% HP, but he reset to 33% when we lost.
Yesterday, Vermi and I decided to try out again. We got an alliance of 18 people. I think 17 of us got there. Like 15 of us got to the BC. If so many people hadn't left before and after the BC, this would've been over by then, but I rant. When I last went, solo, (yes, completely solo), I actually got the Mega Boss down from 33% to about 7%. That's when I had my epiphany. Summoners were needed, and at the time I thought BLMs, too.
So we got 8 people to come. Had a few DCs, ended with 6 in the BC. But only 5 got in. One of them was afk and stayed back... and died.
The names of these last 5 I wrote down, and also the 6th, Vermi, who helped out a lot.
Acavar 75 SMN/WHM
Answar 75 SMN/WHM
Moev 75 SMN/WHM
Nicholette 75 BLM/WHM
Ryuhei 75 BLM/WHM
And Vermi 75 BST/WHM
Also, Rioko helped a LOT. Only her power went out while still on the way to the BC. She should've been there.
Neofinal, thanks for sticking to the end on that alliance run I set up yesterday.
Also, that last team in which I had my epiphany was made up of:
Answar, Rioko, Vermithraxx, Toolnmc, Anester, and Boyhanno. Neofinal stayed behind, but he stuck there--as I said before. There were others, too.
All of those other names I didn't mention, my memory sucks.
If you want to know my strategy, then let the Candy be taken back by the Mamools, and /tell me.
It's patented.
