Asuran Armguards (bonus FF14 item for owning FF13)

[Thelema]

If you own FF13, it has a code with it that you can use to get some nifty newb guantlets in FF14.

However! You have to register the code BEFORE you create your FF14 character, or else (like me ; ; ) only your mules will get the gear.

Where do you find the code? I looked for it a while back and didn't see it...

[Takumifujiwara]

Its only in first gen FF13 copies. Its on a white and red insert sheet when you open the game case. Says in bold at the top, Square Enix Members, Product Registration Card. Then at the bottom is the code.

[ShomeGhuye]

haha think I've got that. I'll have to give it a shot

[mikeman06]

I've got it and I used the code back when I bought XIII... so how does it apply to FFXIV?

[Svina]

what the owl said ^

[Larin]

thanks for this post, it took me forever to figure out how to register it.

if you've already registered your 4x4 code with the squeenix members site go here:

http://member.square-enix.com/na/features/ff13/serialcode/

it'll say something like YOUR BONUS CODE: [20digitnumber]

you then use that code and register it like you did with your onion helm. just split it up so its xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx

[Svina]

is it only for ps3 version? cuz all i got was some xbl avatar shit

[Larin]

ye i believe the code was only available for the first batch of ps3 FF13's. Not for xbox sorry

[Svina]

GAYNESS

[mikeman06]

I got to the page but right after "YOUR BONUS CODE:" it's blank... wtf

[ShomeGhuye]

There's maintenance on the registration site ... lame

[chrono fantasy]

Yeah, it sucks. I bought the 360 version on the midnight release when it first came out. All our code gave us were some gay uniform outfits for our 360 avatar that you can wear. I would've rather have gotten a FFXIV ingame item lol.

[mikeman06]

Looks like I was just being stupid and was trying to put the 20 digit code in the 16 digit box under "register your game and add points." Put it in the right spot and was able to create my character with the arm bands np.

[andrew007]

If anyone is interested I have an Armband Code for the EU version (I bought the game in EU) but I cant use it since my FFXI and XIV accounts are US Maybe someone that has a US armband code want to trade?

[motley]

this sucks , my guy is already lvl 10 lol , oh well guess ill have ti for future characters
