Quetzalcoatl

1.) It was only misspelled in FF8 because Square didn't take the time to add more spaces for GF names.
2.) Quetzalcoatl was in there as a lightning summon (going from some interviews I read) because they already had Raijin (lit. "Thunder God") in there as a major NPC, and didn't wan't to cause a mixup with Raiden (which is what I believe Ramuh has been called in the Japanese FF's.) "Raiden" is also "Thunder God", just a different method of writing it, I guess.

Anyhow, I think misspelling anything which is in the autotranslator/autocompletion is a sign of utter stupidity.

PS: Fujin means "Wind God" for anyone who cares. :)

I farm as level 5 hardass in East Sarabantadubadaba all the time!

Isn't "Sarutabaruta" even misspelled somewhere in game? I swear I've seen "sartabarta" somewhere :P

Yeah!! you see that when you look for someone and they are in that zone. The search results show that truncated name. :D :D . I just call it East Saru and West Saru

Spelling doesn't bother me that much....I'm a terrible speller! I spelt Prairie wrong in our Prarie Bears website...but frankly I'm not going to re-draw that damn logo again!
Heck our server's name is even spelt wrong!! It should be Quezacotl not Quetzalcoatl!

Your a fellow canadian and as you know we are allowed to get away with all sorts of things :P such as Grey and Gray or color and colour! :P so we can spell as we wish :P

i think the confusion between it is the guy in the opening movie pronounces it windhurst, so everyone assums that is right, because thats the only voice we here, but, the guy alos pronounces bastok bastook, but bastook is longer than bastok, very very lazy

Muahah I love it!

You know what? I never call the cities' names properly. With my LS and me, we always saw "Sandy", "Windy", and "Bascock" except for the people from Bascock, they insist on saying Bastok

I almost died laughing when someone /shout 'd it Basdork....I know it's not that funny but I love the word "dork"
