Like it or not people check the AH in game for an item they want before they spend the time looking through pages and pages of the AH Forum.

I'm wondering if there is anyone with the scripting talent and time on their hands to make a QCDN AH plugin for Windower that can be used in game to search the QCDN AH forum for Keywords and maybe even a ticker to see the latest thread subjects posted there.

The AH forum is a last resort for buyers and it's a pretty useless entity in its current form imo, I can count on one hand how many items I have sold through it and I already lost track of the number of threads I've made, so I think something should be done to increase its efficiency.
 
That would be awesome, but extremely hard to do... but a good idea none the less
 
not enough people on QCDN alone for it one server be to weak not even 1/4 of the pop on this server on this site no point but a good idea

"They're not enough people on QCDN alone to make it usefull for one server, not even 1/4 of the population of the server on this website, so there's no point, but a good idea."???
 
The amount of people on QCDN is not enough to have alot of money, time.
The population on QCDN is not enough of this servers %, plus why would it just be one server?

and that time was on msn, ffx, qcdn, aol and not looking as much XD
 
well, the development of such a plugin would benifit other servers as well. It wouldn't be that hard to edit it to use a backend connection to another site.
 
I thought the people behind the windower were going to do this already. I haven't heard much from that site other than "things are coming."

If anyone is willing to do this or has the programing knowledge, I'd be more than happy to help in any way, shape, or form. PM me and let me know.
 
If you made a site that you pick server
then item place like it is in ah
then put in name
then quinty
and your price
might work

Apparenty, they have already written the de to do this, but are still waiting for the people at ffxi.somepage.com to get their acts together and impliment their half of the operation.

Collection is ready to be done, recieving and organizing it is another matter all together it seems.
 
I could look into codeing something like this if I happen to get some free time over the next few weeks or so, but I would hope to see enough interest in this so I don't waste my time.

I did contact that guy a while back asking whether he would be interested in integrating it with vBulletin. Never heard back from him one way or another. May just try it again.
